Given that No Quarter is winning and nobody's expressed any interest in the Balance route, my vote is up for sale for people invested in the outcome for a marker for me to call in with 1 veto. Those with a marker (@runeblue360 , @Savonarola ) may claim in exchange for the marker I owe them being fulfilled. Marker invocation in future votes is on a first come first serve basis.

'Kay, might want to keep the tactics straightforward, or at least frontload anything complicated, because I'm not sure how well Hunger can follow anything that isn't directly violent. Combining the fights as @Wolfy says might be too much for his mental state, even though I agree that the voidspawn would probably not avoid fighting him.
Out of Curiosity @Rihaku is Seram still kicking about? He survived that first world butttt I'm assuming a bit of time has eclipsed. Just wondering if he doing ok still
I wasn't really considering that kind of risk at all, just whether fighting this convenient Tyrant stand-in right as we both need progression and want emotional resolution is a good thing or not. There's such a thing as being overly cautious. I think the reward for beating him would be more valuable than the equivalent of less than 0.25 BP. Apocryphal Curse mean truly riskeless powerups are very rare, especially considering we took Hunger.
I think this is undue paranoia. Given the implied power of the hidden masters, they wouldn't need to resort to some sort of long-term conditioning like this to kill us right now.I wasn't really considering that kind of risk at all, just whether fighting this convenient Tyrant stand-in right as we both need progression and want emotional resolution is a good thing or not.
Super suspicious, is all I'm saying. With years of being manipulated by the Hidden Masters, do we want to get into the habit of chasing questionable incentives, knowing full-well we won't be able to tell if they're ultimately self-defeating or not?
@Microwave MKII I missed your signature registration. Which monthly rate are you at?
punch wizards still need combat tactics just as much as swordsmen do; the Apocryphal Curse ensures we'd eventually find worthy opponents like this.We will not have this problem as "tactic"if we just choose punch wizard.
Get through every social interaction with superior power is always a right choice, safer too.
What exactly prevents us from sparing the pirates for now to focus on the emerging monsters, then slaying them when parlay turns south? Besides common decency I suppose, but that is clearly far below a direct command of the accursed in weight.

Hmm, if he's slower than us maybe we want to keep the distance for now. Stay out of his engagement range and pick off the rest of his crew in front of him. They're probably too weak for Hunger to give and gains from killing them but it'll remove a distraction for us and might put him on tilt and have him show an opening we could take advantage of. While also giving us more clues about what his artifacts do and some time to see if we can appropriate any more useful battle items the crew might go for that might be on the ship before committing.
Unburdening because we need to deal with the curse sooner rather than later. I don't want to doom the world.
Okay one more I couldn't help myself I don't know why I even thought of this
