I'm doing it for the +Progression! This stat is a drug to me.By the way, why is everyone voting Combat right now? Do you just want the liver heal? I'd say in general you don't need to value the Bonus over the mainline option for this decision.
I'm voting for stealth! The only assassin I'll accept is Zhuzheng!By the way, why is everyone voting Combat right now? Do you just want the liver heal? I'd say in general you don't need to value the Bonus over the mainline option for this decision.
Since ++Progression is an order of magnitude increase in growth, if those +s don't work on a different scale when not applied to Hunger, than she should learn to fight much quicker than just twice as fast as before. Getting her to scale so she isn't immediately slaughtered if she gets discovered is useful, and I won't deny that having an assassin with relevant fighting strenght in our party allows also for a wider spread of combat tactics.I don't think her +Progression(Combat) is that impressive. So she learns how to fight two times faster or something? Her main draw had always been her Element, and Stealth improves her Magnitude. That's the same sort of stuff that attracted people so much to Edeldross Adept.
[ ] Combat - The assassin. This involves not only direct martial expertise but all aspects of the killing arts, including a poisoner's expertise and the logistical peculiarities of infiltration and murder. With this specialty, her control over the raw physical component of her Element improves to the point where it's safe and relevant for her to contribute in combat as an ambush / buffing asset. Also improves her rate of growth overall, making it feasible for Aeira to keep up with Hunger if properly supported and invested in. Grants effective +Progression (Combat), +++Element Control, +++Agility, ++Might.
Flare actually had both a lower and higher chance of killing us than spending 14 Arete! Why are so many people suddenly voting for No? Remember Flare have a higher chance of immediately killing us than just spending 14 Arete on Stances had and that still had a very real chance of killing us! That has not stopped being true! There is a time for saving, but when we're about to get in a confrontation with a very real chance of killing us isn't it.
Because many people are voting MDS, which offers completely marginal improvement for this combat. If you don't think that risk is great enough, saving to spend on rewards makes more sense than buying MDS!Why are so many people suddenly voting for No? We've talked and asked about that once in relation to Blood advancements, I think, and the result was that +Progression made picks worth around 200% more? Can't really remember or find the quote. It's an improvement, sure, and will probably help her keep up for a bit, but I would prefer focusing on something she's actually significantly better at than Hunger.Since ++Progression is an order of magnitude increase in growth, if those +s don't work on a different scale when not applied to Hunger, than she should learn to fight much quicker than just twice as fast as before. I think the broad intention is a carrot and stick social approach, with the goal being their capitulation. Basically act as if we're a hostile nation seeking to conquer, but willing to destroy. As the respective representatives of two rings, that's almost accurate!Hm, I haven't gotten a good sense of what strategy you guys want to pursue for the Temple civ as a whole. Just trying to stay flexible, or do you guys have a specific diplomatic solution in mind?
I guess telling them that their present way of living isn't sustainable and by sheer statistics someone strong enough will one day come and tear everything apart, someone who isn't actually searching for a way to mantain their quality of life like us? Also Hunger and the rest of the party are more knowledgeable of the Inner Temple functions so I'm personally hoping they (mainly Gisena) can find some chinks in their system that we could use to corroborate our argument.Hm, I haven't gotten a good sense of what strategy you guys want to pursue for the Temple civ as a whole. Ideally I'd like MDS, but I'll flip to Guile in about 4 hours if it doesn't look likely to win!Because many people are voting MDS, which offers completely marginal improvement for this combat. If you don't think that risk is great enough, saving to spend on rewards makes more sense than buying MDS!
10 Million people in the temple = RISE AND REVOLTHm, I haven't gotten a good sense of what strategy you guys want to pursue for the Temple civ as a whole. Just trying to stay flexible, or do you guys have a specific diplomatic solution in mind?
