A Realm Divided - A ASOIAF Nation Game

@Duzzit
I'm thinking that as far as the kids go Visenya is a daddy's girl through and through whilst Aegon still thinks his mother is at the heart of the world even when he's out making conquests and getting far too drunk.

She'd also be well aware that in their early years the twins are very much annoyed at their betrothals and though they come to accept them in time and probably come to love their would be spouses there will always be a degree of attraction between them.

@Skrevski @Darth Invictus @Duzzit

So the idea is that the marriage of Ser Myles Toyne and Lady Ashara Dayne never amounted to anything and was quietly set aside in the wake of the divisions and dramas that occur when the Golden Company takes up a new contract with House Arryn, leaving Lady Ashara a free agent resident in Starfall; where, perhaps, she either marries or seduces Lord Corlys and gives him a son, who is chosen as the new Lord of Starfall given his Dayne blood and King Rhaegar's unwillingness, perhaps, to see Starfall become Blackfyre property. Meanwhile the Blackfyre wife of Lord Corlys is either divorced or repudiated, or, regardless of what happens before his death, ends up as his widow, with nothing but a disinherited baby girl to show for herself. She ends up marrying Lord Arryn who thus raises her daughter at the Eyrie.

This way all the loose ends are tied up and everyone is happy. Thoughts?

That works.

Anyway @Shapeless Phobos

House Stoneman*
Words: Of Dawn and Dusk**
Lord: Oryn Stoneman
Sigil: A black dragon head inside a white Sun.
*Just an idea that the Summer Islanders who speak common tongue less fluently might not understand what is meant by a bastard name so he gets called the Stoneman and his mother likes the notion.
** A play on being of the Summer Islands and the "Sunset Kingdoms" of Westeros.

The narrative has been worked out and agreed upon. Just wait and see.

And no, the Vale is not declaring for the Blackfyres. You guys need to calm down thinking every hello to a Blackfyre means sitting them on the Iron Throne.

In the case of the leader of an anti Targ faction now welcoming Targ rivals, it looks suspicious.

Why does the Vale suddenly support the Blackfyres?
I dont think it does? I certainly didn't when i hired velasco.

Plus, I've kept half the GC for myself now. (Cut ties on good/excellent terms with those who went with Velasco).

Ugh. Due to My studies IRL, I wont be able to post nearly as much as I want to over the coming two weeks, tho I am here. I was hoping to at least do like 6-7 pages worth of stuff i want Dorne doing, but i dont know if i have the time. Sigh.

With @Dovahsith leaving (Damn it) I still think Arienne-Renly match is the thing that will happen, but I am sad he'll be NPC.

Guys don't argue, the Mod asked me about it and I said I'm fine with it. I put in a condition that Rhaegar had to arrange the match and that the Golden Company basically bled away thanks to not going around Essos anymore, having exiles reconnect with their families and Robert and the new Royal Army suck up those men fancying being full time soldiers.

Its a weaker Golden Company and its married to Arryn so that Arryn can't move against Rhaegar without everyone thinking he's backing the Blackfyres for the crown which would cost him a lot of support. Some other fluff too but the main point is that the mod and vel and me are ok with this and another giant argument over the timeskip is not what we need or want.

Moving on...is literally everyone writing an essay length timeskip plan? I feel I covered everything in some bullet points but now I'm worried I have to go back just not to be superceded by everyone else.

I don't understand the complaint. We're trying to set up a workable new scenario, or new/next stage of this scenario. There was a lot of upset because Rhaegar was getting his way everywhere and shaping Westeros in a way that made him more powerful. One faction arises that gets one minor boost and people start complaining. I don't understand the reason why.

You declare independence. The North and the Vale of Arryn are out of the war and, together with the Stormlands, bent the knee or made solemn pledges to King Rhaegar. Rhaegar and his battle-hardened host advance on a divided and bruised Riverlands to kick your ass from Seagard to the Blackwater and back. The Tullys are hung drawn and quartered in fact and metaphor and Rhaegar takes as much of your land as he goddamn pleases because no one cares enough to stop him.

That's BS. Three days ago Rhaegar was a beggar king with nonsupport outsode some religious nuts.

Now he's going to radically altar Westeros' politics? What the fuck happened???
