Asshai is actually one of the most limited factions. No children, no neighbours, small population of evils and grim being evil and grim.
 
But grimdark can be a welcome change from the politically ambitious and highly camp Byron.

So, Byron's kids would have Valyrian blood?

I really don't like this. I've had an extensive network to detect espionage beyond the Neck. A system like this does not apeal to me. Or at least it some peole should be harder to assasinate than others.

I'm one of the biggest critics and skeptics there is when it comes to silly or improbable or magically successful espionages.

Sometimes people do get killed, however, and sometimes there won't be a clear public roll for everyone to scrutinise. A lot of times players see only outcomes, the tip of a nasty iceberg of lies and plots and false friendship.

When Commanderblade played the Umbers he backstabbed the Targaryens, while they were winning, all on the promise of having a Stark-led independent kingdom in the north. Even though the Starks were quite loyal.

Basically it was one of the craziest moments ever as it made no sense.

Yeah! I am quite happy to keep paying my membership due... I mean taxes and enjoy my fought over autonomy and enjoy the trade and economic benefits of Westeros as a whole.

Why rebel and give all of that up?
