When rolling Martial to protect oneself, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10.
Its more like a luck then an instinct. Its good at dodging harm, but not much else.

Magecraft (Ether)
Can use magic. In particular, pure ether magic becomes available.
It's sorta like a dragons breath. Its not subtle at all and really only good for blowing things up.

Magecraft (Burglary)
Can use magic. In particular, all sorts of arts relating to burglary, like picking locks and putting people to sleep, become available.
You would be shocked how useful this actually is.

Downer
Suffers exploding failures on a roll of 1 (or 2 on a 2d10).
Oh… I messed up again…

Sealed Noble Phantasm
Arturia cannot deploy her Noble Phantasm without a circle of confidents.
Sorry, it just won't work yet.
Senji Muramasa
Age: Appears in his 20s

Roll an opposed Martial check against incoming magic. On success, the magic fails.
Just the benefit of being a Saber, I'm afraid.

Grand Smith
When rolling Stewardship to run a blacksmithy or workshop, or performing a related task; quadruple your ability score.
Geez, please don't tell me you've been stolen by the evils of consumerism!

War Adjunct
Reduce Martial skill to a third in warfare situations unless attached to a Legendary Lord as an adjunct. When acting as an adjunct, replace the Martial skill of the attached Legendary Lord with Muramasa's.
Individually, we aren't much, but I have the experience and you have the voice.

Reality Marble: Originless Creation of Swords(Tsumukari Muramasa)
Ignore all forms of invincibility for one attack. Mortally wounds self afterwards.
My whole life, just for this one swing!

Ha, magic? You wish!

Charisma
When rolling to convince others, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10. When rolling to prevent your unit breaking, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10.
Wanna see what this bastard can really do? Hope you don't like your kingdom!

Stack the Books
When rolling to make use of finances and other infrastructure developments, roll an additional 1d6. This result is added afterwards to find additional finances to grease the wheels.
The quickest way to get the people to work is to shower them with luxury.

Knight of the Round Table
???
You aren't father.

Deathless
In hopeless battle situations, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10. You must be killed twice before you die. Susceptible to Khorne corruption.
Bring it ya bastards! I'll drag you all to hell with me!

Clarent Blood Arthur
Roll an opposed martial check against an enemy battalion. On success, the battalion is shattered. If you succeed by more then five, the enemy battalion is obliterated. Recharges after 1d6 warfare rounds. Two uses. After the second use, the battle becomes hopeless regardless of enemy numbers.
I am no king, but I walk the path behind the king. Taste my resolve.
Sakamoto Ryouma
Age: 33
Height: 5'9
Weight: 72kg
Gender: Male
Alignment: True Neutral
Class: Lancer

Diplomacy: 18
Martial: 9
Stewardship: 7
Intrigue: 11
Learning: 14

Traits
Magic Resistance
Roll an opposed Martial check against incoming magic. On success, the magic fails.
I'm afraid that I'm not very good at dodging magic. See, I have a rather big target on my back.
He means I am drawing magic towards him.

The Great White Snake of Takachiho
Assisted by Oryou in all things. Add 1d6 to all rolls in relation to martial or magic matters. Subtract 1d6 in relation to all rolls in regards to management and assassination matters.
She is very handy, but she also likes frogs.
Shush. Frogs are tasty.

Unifying Dragon
When negotiating with multiple lords simultaneously, roll 2d8 instead of 1d10.
We should all sit at the table and have some nice miso soup.
… Ryouma. There is no miso here.

The Rough Ones
While hidden within a settlement, roll intrigue against the lord of the settlement. On success, a Bakumatsu Office is established within the settlement and starts working against the lords goals.
Leave it to me. I'll slow the problem down.
You mean you'll adopt another Okada.

Nail of the World: Ama-no-Sakahoko
Attacks made by this lord are magical in nature, and as a result, can always harm demonic foes regardless of their traits. Immune to all Chaos corruption. Always afflicted with Corruption (Oryou).
Technically, it's a nail that creates landmasses.
Oryou should point out that is such a simplistic explanation that it explained nothing.

O' Dragon, Conquer the Expanses of Wadatsumi
Transform Oryou temporarily into a divine dragon. In this state, the trait 'Purge Defence' is obtained and attack all nearby units simultaneously. Recharge 1d6 turns.
Take it, Oryou.
Aye, let us soar to heaven.

Purge Defence (Normally inactive)
Immune to non-magic attacks. Immune to all attacks and magic that roll less then an 18, regardless of opposed checks.
Oda Nobunaga
Age: 23
Height: 5'4
Weight: 50kg
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Avenger
Hidden Attributes: Earth, Demon

Diplomacy: 14
Martial: 9
Stewardship: 14
Intrigue: 17
Learning: 12

Traits
Avenger
Vulnerable to all types of Chaos Corruption. However, while corrupted, gain 1d10 to all related rolls to the corruption. All forms of corruption purge in 1d6 turns from the first corruption.
The corruption of a demon, huh? I'll show you a real demon.

Strategy
When fighting personally, reduce martial score to 6 unless [Ranmaru] is present. If leading a battalion specialising in rifles, increase martial score to 13.
I will admit the frontlines are not for me.

Master of the Court
If your intrigue is higher then the opponents, add 1d10 to your roll. If your intrigue is lower then the opponents, subtract 1d10 from your roll.
Well… it can't be helped.

Unifying the Nation by Force
When facing opponents of a lesser technology base, magical nature, or divinity on the battlefield, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10.
Three worlds. Rotate. Kill them all.

Fool of Owari
Roll 1d10 at the start of a turn. On a 1, Nobunaga becomes distracted by some sort of flight of fancy and is otherwise uncontrollable. Disables during military crisis.
Well, at the time they called my Kippoushi, but this form is after I was called the demon king.

???
???
It's not time to reveal this.
Beowulf
Age: 78
Height: 6'1
Weight: 81kg
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Class: Berse- -> Alter Ego
Hidden Attributes: Earth, Dragon, Monster, Crown Candidate
Note: The salvation of a world is no place for a man mad with fury. I will take the stage.

Diplomacy: 7
Martial: 20
Stewardship: 7
Intrigue: 6
Learning: 11

Traits
Beowulf the Berserker
In battle, the hero is completely unbreakable and inspires all nearby retinues to fight even when shattered. All penalties from morale or disadvantageous positioning is negated. Chaos Corruption is negated and all opposed rolls to check for corruption on Beowulf are considered to roll a 0.
Stand tall. The foe may breath fire. The foe may be of death itself. I. Do. Not. Care. BEOWUUUUUULF!

The Kind King
When using Diplomacy or Stewardship in order to assist the people of a settlement, double them. However, the excesses he showers on his people out of love, while it fosters loyalty, is also hard on the coffers. If a revolt occurs within ones territory, Beowulf will automatically move to put it down.
For the weak, kindness. For the wicked, vengeance.

A Quiet Life
Halve all construction times within the settlement that Beowulf is within. However, if the settlement is threatened from minor threats, Beowulf will automatically move to remove them.
For the people, toil. For the monstrous, death.

Hrunting and Naegling
This hero's attacks are always considered magical. When fighting demons and monsters, add 1d10 to all Martial checks. Against demons and monsters, this hero always does at least the minimum amount of damage, even if they are invincible.
My swords are trustworthy. No, I don't need a walking stick, get me a knee brace you fool!

Weak to Poison
Due to dying from dragon venom, Beowulf is weak against poison, and does not get a second death save if struck down by poison. Since the poison must be draconic in nature, this weakness is more narrow then it appears.
All things end. It is quite simple.
Sanada Yukimura
Age: 31
Height: 5'6
Weight: 77kg
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Class: Lancer
Hidden Attributes: Earth, Oni

Diplomacy: 5
Martial: 16
Stewardship: 7
Intrigue: 15
Learning: 8

Traits
Magic Resistance
Roll an opposed Martial check against incoming magic. On success, the magic fails.
It's the Oni Blood, I'm afraid.

One Hundred Year Hero
Yukimura Sanada counts as a battalion on his own, and cannot be attached to other units. When making rolls in warfare, add 1d6 to the result.
They say one like me occurs every one hundred years, but I feel like I accomplished far less then Musashi.

Sanada Brave | Ninjutsu
This Hero can impede the enemy and conduct all espionage actions. If he succeeds in an Intrigue check against opponents, he can subvert their facilities and intentions to the cause.
Leave it to me. I'll be back soon. If I come back wearing make up, please don't comment on it.

Rapid Training
When rolling Stewardship to train units, double Yukimura's Stewardship score. When rolling learning to equip units correctly, halve Yukimura's learning score.
Now, now. Here's the right length spear. The techniques of the Sanada require a long shaft.

Deathless
In hopeless battle situations, roll 2d10 instead of 1d10. This hero will never break in combat. Susceptible to Nurgle corruption.
You have taken your last step. Your head is mine!

Blazing Sengoku Demon
Attacks made by this unit deal fire damage. If he rolls more then five higher then the opposing units Martial score, that unit is shaken, or if it is shaken, it breaks.
This is where you die. I'm not trapped here with you. You are trapped here with me.

River (Infected)

Do we know if the well is also infected? I think we might be able to get away with leaving it be so long as we purge the river since people can just get their water there for a bit. Plus I feel like we should be ensuring they have shelter rather than doubling up on water.

You can assign more then one servant to some tasks. For example, you could have both Arturia and Yukimura attend to wounds. Its not either or, its a 'must be one or more of these two'.
I figured since I have her assigned to cleaning the river she'd be too busy. If she can do both this week I'm happy to double up.

Repairing the well will replace it if necessary. Muramasa has the knowhow to draw water from the earth without worrying about taint. Coupled with Nobunaga's decision, this isn't a concern.

The comment was actually more directed at your Beowulf line. One servant may only do one action a turn, unless the action is noted as free.

Alright, three things we need.
1: Food
2: Water
3: Some kind of relations with the people here. Though it looks like that one's automatic.

[] Gather food. There is no other options. (DC10 Martial)
-[] Beowulf
[] Purify the Water (DC 10 Learning)
-[] Arturia Avalon

So these seem non-negotiable to me.
The others...
[] Scout the local area (Intrigue Check)
-[] Sanada Yukimura
[ ] The Rough Ones (Automatic Success)
-[ ] Sakamoto Ryouma
[ ] Attend to the populations medical needs (DC 10 Learning)
-[ ] Arturia Avalon or Sanada Yukimura

Not being blind to the area around us is a good idea, I'd say. If we don't do it this week, we have to next week. Other than that...
Two questions. First, can we assign the same hero to multiple actions? Second, what does the The Rough Ones action entail?

First, can we assign the same hero to multiple actions?
No. A servant can only perform one action a turn unless the action they take does not use up their time. It would be noted if it was free.

Second, what does the The Rough Ones action entail?
The Rough Ones sets up a Bakumatsu Office, which allows Ryouma to start taking subversive actions. It also ties into his Rising Dragon skill as a servant, meaning the battalion formed out of the Bakumatsu Office gets a benefit to its stats. That is what is relevant to you right now.

If you had brought Izou along, the Rough Ones would become a synergy skill, but you don't have Izou.

While we *can* put off food for a bit longer than water, we might still want to go for some. It's good for keeping morale up, and it looks like the check is not terribly difficult.

And yeah, if we want to clear away the dead I think we'll need more than Beowulf. That Stewardship DC is too high.

Medical needs, I think may be worthwhile to start on now, but I don't think is as strictly necessary. I still think we should probably do something with that, though.

Intrigue is a case where it would be nice, but right now feels less necessary than the above subjects. I think I'd want to go for it instead of fixing the well right now, though; purifying the river should provide well enough.

Using Beowulf for that will burn into your food.

In that case, I'm leaning toward putting Beowulf to the hunting effort. We don't really have the food to spare right now, and he has good martial. Likely not necessary for the roll, but better be safe than sorry. Maybe there's something he's better put toward right now, though.

Alrighty then...

Another question on mechanics, if we assign people to 'clear away the dead' and they don't hit the DC45, does the DC go down on subsequent attempts for partial completion?

I mean that would make sense, but I figure I should be sure.

[X] Plan: Basic Needs
-[X] Gather food. There is no other options. (DC10 Martial)
--[X] Beowulf
-[X] Purify the Water (DC 10 Learning)
--[X] Arturia Avalon
-[X] Attend to the populations medical needs (DC 10 Learning)
--[X] Sanada Yukimura
-[X] Clear away the dead (DC45 Stewardship)
--[X] Mordred Pendragon
--[X] Sakamoto Ryouma
--[X] Senji Muramasa

To explain my choices very simply. First is food, second is water, third is that while Tzeentch may not be Nurgle, there are plenty of mundane afflictions that can rise from wounds and dead bodies, so we should clear bodies and address any potential health issues.

We just have to hope that what shelter still exists in the town will suffice to keep people out of any bad weather that might come up and start fixing buildings next week.

If we don't go hunting, we've got 15 food and burn 7 a week. Not ideal, but we're two turns away from running out, which isn't bad.

The river taint I want cleared because you don't give Chaos an inch, no matter what. More water is secondary. Still, I can be talked into a different repair action.

I think securing food supplies now is better, but you make a fair point. As for river taint, yeah no the river is probably better to make drinkable. Building should be on something else if we want to take that action.

Basically, if I were forced to switch one thing out in my current plan, I'd trade food for having Muramasa fix up some buildings for people to sleep in to make sure everyone has a roof over their heads and put Beowulf on body clearing too. That would be an acceptable alternative in my mind.

So voting for that should be fine.

I'm looking at the information page, and it ain't pretty. Well over two thousand of thd people are dead, and most of the remaining seven hundredish are in need of medical care. The coffers are empty, likely because of the Chaos raiders. And to make it worse they were Tzeentch raiders, so this is either going according to plan or according to plan.

I do feel this validates the healing action, but has much as I don't want to let the corruption linger, it does make me want to double up on it with Sakamoto and Arturia while having Muramasa build the well. It really is that bad. Anyone who was left in this village would've faced the choice of slowlt falling to Chaos from drinking the river water or left, and any who couldn't leave, most of these people, would starve. It depends on whoever cleared the raiders, but I don't have much hope in believing them to still be around.

[X] Plan: Basic Needs

Basic Needs are Basic Needs indeed. Glad Nobu's gone with purging corruption too, we'd have probably picked that one anyway. Shame we can't have Arturia on the healing action with Yukimura, but cleansing corruption is farrrr more important at this time, that's for sure

I see no objection to Spectral's proposal. Beowulf can do good work with Stewardship here, but we need a stable food supply for him to burn through first. Nobunaga is setting to work on clearing the corruption automatically, which I'd be lobbying for anyway if it was left to a vote.

Our options for water are to fix the well or cleanse the river, each of which are tasks only one person can perform. Arturia for the river and leaving Yukimura to attend the wounded is probably the right call.

Our action economy being what it is, everyone else should be put to work clearing the bodies. Ryouma and Muramasa don't exactly have stellar Stewardship, but I'll any bonus to whittle down an action that's going to need multiple rolls anyway. We can cycle them out to work their mojo as needed once some progress is made on everything else that needs doing. The only thing I'd give a second thought is putting Muramasa on the water supply and having Arturia contributing slightly more to the corpse disposal than he would, but it would be too small an increase to cut down the time needed to deal with it and leave the tainted river unattended.

The rest will have to wait until we're reasonably sure the survivors aren't about to bleed out or wither into jerky.
