You seem to have missed a very important detail: I never even thought about checking the wiki. Because I am a dumb.
Aye, but here's the rub: will I remember? My success stories are mainly about ad-libs.
Hmm, my mother has similar memory problems; she has a really weird trick of writing down how to remind herself of stuff so she can remind herself to remind herself to do something.
Somehow, it works for her.

I need tips with remembering to remind myself of stuff I need to remember... Uh, can you tell me about your mom's method? 100% serious. Memory problems suck.

Ok, so, the most common thing she does is putting sticky notes or other assorted in-your-face messages and puts them in during-your-routine places (like, say, the bathroom mirror for the stickies) that say stuff like "look in the fridge" so she can remember to buy more hummus or something; obviously, this method is dependent on what you do in your day to day life.

Edit: A more psychological explanation would be that she's using a concrete physical/digital reminder to guide herself into a mnemonic trigger event.

If the relevant rolls earlier are any indication, we're doing very very well with Curious.

I can't even imagine how that's going to be handled at this point because we somehow managed to roll sevens on all three rolls involved with the interview. I hope you like tearing your hair out in frustration, Meta Liberation Army, because you're getting basically nothing you wanted out of this interview.

At least, that's what I'm personally hoping for.

By the way how are we dealing with Curious?

That'll probably depend on how she plans to spin the story. What exactly IS the MLA's official position on Trigger? Do they think of it as a crutch for people with low-class quirks or is it considered a viable emergency item for a Liberation Warrior who needs the boost to accomplish his mission? What DO they think of a Quirkless suddenly gaining a Quirk? Do they think he's rising above his rightful station or do they consider it like a cripple being miraculously healed/undergoing a medical procedure to allow them to live a normal life?

So we apparently hit the jackpot in dealing with Curious. I almost feel sorry for her. By the time the interview's over we're gonna leave her with her head spinning and wondering how she got decoyed through the briar patch by a middle-schooler. Or maybe she'll feel like a certain hyper-intelligent yet extremely unlucky coyote with Izuku as her Road Runner.

As to tearing hair out in frustration, at least Re-Destro will have some extra fuel for his Quirk.

Very very well may be an exaggeration. We rolled well, and hit the second highest DC, but an adult with average stats would've made that DC with a 2 on the die. I think it means Izuku said what he meant to say and didn't get trapped into anything unpleasant or embarrassing, but it's not an earth shattering and unprecedented social success the likes of which the world has never seen. Now, the DC probably is lower because Izuku is being underestimated, but still, I think his performance is solid rather than earth-shatteringly brilliant.

This is probably correct though. We definitely avoided getting tripped up or giving them actual ammo or ways to use us to further their agenda.

I do think it would be nice if the jackpot means that Izuku puts out a good one-liner. Or, does one of his canonically great meme expressions and goes a bit viral on the internet. Which makes me recall another meme I like. The amount that this kid cries is is so, uh, an amount that I think that people should write fic where Izuku's quirk is crying. Stick a villain in a room with that kid and they'll both drown. It'll be fine.

I'll be happy if all the jackpot does is push our Diplomacy Training roll just that extra little bit to get the lowest tier success.

Don't forget, the DC we failed to max out was media attention, which we didn't necessarily want maxed.

Interview Part 1 = DC 10 = 1d10 + Dip = 7 + 7 = 14
Interview Part 2 = DC 14 = 1d10 + Dip = 7 + 7 = 14
Interview Part 3 = DC 10,12,14,16 = 1d10 + Dip = 7 + 7 = 14
[777!]
Also, that jackpot will definitely mean something special, given the [777!] in the update. I would be incredibly surprised (and mildly disappointed) if this somehow meant we gave an "average Joe" level interview. At the very least, we're going to be SchmoYoHo'd—so hide yo kids, hide yo wife

Er...where is that stated?

I imagine it'll be a bit more notable than that, yes, (I did speculate that the DC was lower due to him being underestimated, after all), but it's a matter of degree. Izuku clearly did a much better hob than people would've expected and managed to make things go well...but there's still a lot of room for improvement there.

A Trait as FictionPack suggests actually seems both likely and neat...being good at dealing with the media would be a nice trait to have.

Do you mean the DC, or that we might not want maxed out media attention? Because a number of people commented on media attention both before and after the rolls were made, and how it'd be better to get things out there, make a statement, but not have so much attention that we drown in paparazzi or reporters.

I meant where is it stated what the third DC reflects, because it sure isn't in the bit you quoted.

Right here, bolded by me:
So I now need a 1d100 + 5 DC 30,60,90,100
a 1d10 + 7 for Interview Part 2, DC 14
and a 1d10 + 7 for Media attention DC 10,12,14,16

Edit: other quotes from the conversation:
1d8 Training Buff = 6
- 1d100 + 5 = 27. Fail.

1d10 + 7 Interview Part 1 = 14. Pass.
- 1d10 + 7 Interview Part 2 = 14. Pass.
— 1d10 + 7 Media Attention = 14. Third Tier Success.

Succeeded both parts of our interview and got 3 out of 4 DCs on Media Attention.

So, since we don't want more media attention, is passing DCs good or bad? Because if it's good, then I feel fairly confident about the results of our interview, even if it's sad that we didn't get a Diplomacy buff by the looks of it. Ah well, there's always next time. And we still have a chance for a Diplomacy buff from our Intrigue action.

With his new quirk, him shooting a fountain of tears would be a pretty impressive sight. All the glitter and colors and what not.

I have seen a short comic idea where his quirk is crying, though it's "when I cry, everyone around me also cries"

How much does Izuku know about what happened in Aldera? Because if he does he may make a connection with why he is seeing so "brightly". And does he (in character) know what happened to Nagai?

Long as we're bringing up Bakugo....

Is there any substantiated proof that all quirks directly influence people's behaviors? Is someone with an explosive quirk naturally pushed to be more explosive in personality, for example.

Seems a very quirk counselor type of question. Maybe could be worded better.
