Don't worry, I'm no meta hog so I'll only put you in the dirt for things you've said in this game !!!OFC now that I've explained all that I was gonna actually try and take notes this game so that could completely throw my play off and get me lynched soooo...

Sixteen. So, we have 17 players. How many bad guys does that suggest we are likely to have?
Most games go somewhere in between 3:1 and 2:1 Town:Mafia ratio. I'd say we're more likely looking at a 4-player Mafia team with a distinct possibility of a benign third-party role. So, we have 17 players. How many bad guys does that suggest we are likely to have?
Typically this isn't something you do in early game. Mechanically it's better to try and hide your role and catch scum on Day this lay some, as that will make things harder for the Mafia at Night in regards to planning around actions.Would it be bad civ to suggest people share their roles?
It would force scum to come up with a plausible lie, which might be telling, but the rules say "if you must refer to your role, paraphrase." which suggests the practice is frowned upon.
The problem with that is typically it's also to the advantage of town power roles to stay hidden so the scum can't target them.Would it be bad civ to suggest people share their roles?

That particular clause exists due to past issues with people attempting to use exact wording from PMs to try and scumhunt or prove they were town. It grew to the point of being problematic, so most games since have had that clause included as a basic preventative. It would force scum to come up with a plausible lie, which might be telling, but the rules say "if you must refer to your role, paraphrase." which suggests the practice is frowned upon.
Random guesses always have purpose, because it's more fitting to call them "random" guesses.
Eeeh, this requires scum to actually respond, no? I suppose even my guesses aren't entirely random, but this early on I have no real information either. As in, I fully believe there is still a full team in this setup
I'll keep it in mind as you're more experienced but atm I don't agree. It should become clear after the first Night anyway, I imagine.Traditional Mafia vs. Town, maybe with a third party mixed in.
I don't think this game is large enough to try a factional approach for the setup.
Flavor doesn't make sense for it.
No, definitely not. Makes no sense from flavor and you don't do cult games without letting people know it's a cult game.
1) Not really. Most of my reads end up wrong because I just plainly don't have an understanding of what people are until later in the game when I have more info about game composition. I also dislike reading based on traditional "cues" as a whole.1) Is there a player in this game you think you can read better than anyone else? If you'd like to share, why do you think so?
2) The opposite question: is there a player you find harder to read than anybody else? Why so?
AHHHHHH! I'M FALLING FOR IT![x] Lynch InterstellarHobo
This is clearly bait guys don't fall for it!
I tried really hard to come up with a joke about Dovah's avatar being the actual Doctor but then i remembered he's not playing rip
