The group rush through the path with their superspeed. Sucy carried Lotte on her back ("Thanks Sucy!") and Akko did it for Amanda ("Oh hell no! No! This is embracing!!!! God Damn it!!!!"). The two Persona user moved fast enough that none of the Viper vines could tag them.
Finally they arrived at source of the voice; an area like clearing with minimum amount of vines, and find Shadow Diana herself is present, her voice lightly chuckling. Before her are two beefy worker Shadows in back T-shirts and jeans. Their masks are numberless and XVIII respectively. In their massive hands is a struggling young man in a rich tux. He is decent looking, but with his face in horror and desperation, he appears ugly.
Beside Diana however, is another human(?). He's an old man in a butler suit and gloves, with light brown hair and mustache. He is waiting patiently by Shadow Diana's side with his hands behind his back, in his hold is a small purse.
"Argh!!!! Please! Mistress Diana!" the cognitive creation cries. "I only wanted to love you! If you accepted my proposal, we can rebuild your great family as husband and wife!!"
"Fufu… How I love hearing these pretty words…" the Mistress of this mansion mockingly laugh. "Too bad you and your predecessors will never do such a thing. In reality, you all only came before me in hopes of gaining political power and wealth... however little that remain in my precious state..." she mutters with bitterness. "You are nothing more but another useless suggestion from that Bitch Daryl… it is getting boring at this point."
"But… but…!" the young man begs. "I truly loved you! With all of my being!!!"
"I can humor that you are speaking the truth… However, the feeling is not mutual. I have no attraction toward someone as pathetic as you. My goal in life also have no place for romantic love, unfortunately." the Shadow self scoffs. "Now, join with the other and receive your wealth. Don't say I wasn't charitable, fufu~"
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The Shadow workers tosses the poor man in with the carnivorous plant. The vines immediately envelopes him and warps him up. His body convert into gold as he screams…
"Holy shit… You have issues, Diana…" Amanda says out loud. "Again! What the hell!?"
Shadow Diana turns to face the intruders of her mansion, brushing a hand through her hair. "Do you feel this is wrong? Don't be. I have to deal with dozens of people like him on a monthly basis. Binded by their greed, they only seek to exploit the Magical World and myself. They are dangerous obstacles to witchkind's future that my other half is simply too kind hearted to remove with conviction." she grins with malice. "Beside, am I not affectionate? I allow them to be their ideal form, granting them the life they had been yearning for, fufu hahaha!"
"Holy shit, I am now thoroughly convinced that the noble lifestyle suck balls," Amanda shivers.
"Well said… Perhaps we stuck a common ground? Amanda O'neil, daughter of the president of the fable O'neil company?"
"Woh," Sucy's eyes widen. "No wonder why that last name sounded familiar."
"Sorry, totally not on the same boat here. Because I had the sensibility to get myself kicked out before I get annoying shit like this!" Amanda rebuttals. "You should do the same too if you are that smart!"
