    Misaka-11111 has failed to enquire as of the nature of the giant gold blood-covered avian with glowing eyes. For once, it is not because she is too busy complaining or shirking.

    Kamijou Touma punched the giant gold blood-covered bird.

    It exploded.

    Now there is blood everywhere. And we may never know what kind of bird it was.

    Now she is complaining again.

    It is a good thing she purchased new clothes today. Her current set is ruined. Blood does not come out of clothing easily. This is the first time the Network has experienced being covered in blood that is not your own. Or at least the blood of another Network member. It is less painful this way. We definitely prefer to be covered in blood which belongs to someone else.

    It is in my shoes. It is dripping down the side of my legs. It is like being caught out in the rain or being splashed by a bus, but even worse.

    Today is a bad day.

    • I'm getting a Statler and Waldorf feel from the Network peanut gallery. It could be interesting if some of the other Network members who are more sympathetic to Yui start weighing in with brief, snarky comments to defend her.

    Yui thinks the summoning knife has LEDs. ... What would she think if she got her hands on the knife and found out there were no LEDs?
     
    Might be an opportunity for her housemates to seem more sympathetic, tho; i'll bet if you polled Academy City middle school girls and excluded the Network, at least 40% of them would agree that being covered in other people's blood makes it a bad day. That might even rise to a majority if you also exclude everyone above level 2.

    Almost certainly, to almost anyone of any level, not being covered in any kind of blood is better than being covered in someone else's blood, all else being equal.

    Even people who enjoy violence don't enjoy getting out stains, after all.
     
    I always thought the sisters just burn their blood covered clothes and get issued new ones. Unless her clothes are "hers" and therefor not to be burned because she'll have to get her own instead of being issued new ones.
     
    The Network should still be able to learn what kind of bird that was if they ask panda-girl. Don't give up hope, Network!

    If they learn more about her or where she comes from, they might even be able to have a Network member in whatever country she's fleeing to track her down. There is no escape.
