I would suggest you hold your horses there.

Given the future colonization plans, there is going to be a potential extension of the restrictions on infra projects.

I will resolve it in the background, and give you the results tomorrow.
 
Hey,sorry i looked into this quest after a while and am trying to remember: was this a quest where you can uplift other species and integrate them into your civilisation,or was that something the qm said would harm those other species too much?

Well, this is more like a species is building its own cosmopolitical entity, and leaving its mark on the galaxy, while trying to form alliances with as many sentient species as possible, with integration into their state being optional.

From what you said, you might be referring to another quest, thought your description is a bit too vague for me to understand.

Honestly I expected that, that why in the future plans of Turn 17 and beyond I was going to ask if you can locked the other colonization missions until we can get to at least 100 Billion Materials and at least 75 Billion Nanomaterials.
 
The problem with helping humans, is that humans get angry if you do. The imperium literally depends on spinning it's narrative of human domination/superiority/virtue/exceptionalism at the expense of all other sophont beings in order to keep up it's exploitative and abusive methodologies. Which it won't let go of because they're a bunch of paranoid cultists hoarding secrets. Even if the population you aid is reacting rationally, all their neighbors will start screaming heresy and crusade you and your new friends.

Not without some major improvements in warding and runes we don't.

All of that is unfortunately true, considering that the Imperium is a composite of the worst of excesses of each and every repressive regime IRL, with a Romano-Gothic aesthetic on top of it all, created by a man who is himself a composite of the worst that humanity is capable of. It is hardly a wonder that they are Chaos' favourite target and cats' paw.

And considering what will happen to the GEOM when he dies...the Imperium is, in a sense, like the Drukhari in that they are living on borrowed time.
