There will be plenty of time to grab boosts and buffs. The Dark Voice provides us with an immediate foot up, yes, but the Files may very well be a one and gone chance to get our hands on some stuff directly in line with our goals.

It's medium term vs long term benefit, and we are unlikely to start in such a desperate situation that we should prioritize the medium term.

Yes, but that can be remedied. There will always be opportunities to risk things for power, as the Dark Voice option would, and since we are unlikely start right into an unsurvivable situation, we will get more than enough chances to gain strength.

Besides, theres also a chance some of that stuff is directly applicable to our current situation.

Damn contract.
It allows you to simultaneously conclude a deal after which a person forgets about them, but seeks to fulfill the terms of the deal at any cost. Supports 3 trades at the same time. To trigger, a signature in the contract is enough.
P.s. ahhh, there OR, then just write down the idea.

artifact ideas

Monocle of Hidden Thing, basically X-Ray lense, good for when you want to make sure people dont have concealed weapons, or finding hidden things, or looking into closed rooms

Pen of the Hidden Blade- A Fancy looking pen, but can form an invisible blade of warp energy. The blade is only as strong as a steel blade and leaves behind a warp signature that fades after a little time. Good murder/last resort weapon.

Seems interesting. If I understand correctly, you can enforce up to three deals at once. The person that has made the deal forgets they have, but still try to complete the agreed terms.

Someone, it seems, has taken note of the cult. In dreams it is heard, echoing as if from a great distance. It hints at many secrets, and gives promises of great power. It may guide you down paths you never even considered. It could also wish for you to serve as pawns.

Set of 12 porcelain dolls empty inside. If you fill a doll with the blood of a person, and then dress it up in a suit and give it a "ROLE", then the person will match it. Always will be. Blood the homeless and dress them up in SWAT suits and you will have a squad of people with SWAT skills. The physique also adapts to the role. Roles are very different. They say one day dolls dress up in Astartes costumes. People died in an hour, but 3 real Astartes also died.

Excellent long term gain, and we aren't liable to start out so pressed into a corner we need immediate power the instant we hit the scene.

The dagger is inconveniently shaped. One cut is enough to bleed and it flies straight to the target's heart. When flying, destroys any protection. If a person dies with a heart attack (which pleases almost everyone except the Astartes), then the blade erases a person's Existence in this world. Memories of him are erased, images in paintings, his notes ... This person never existed. Dot.
After use, the blade moves to a random point in the world, where a person can theoretically access. Even into the sewer, even to the score, even to the top of the mountain.

Once upon a time, an artifact of an unknown civilization in the form of a seal allowed only holy people to take control of itself, killing weak wills and delivering unbearable torment to stronger ones, of course, if they did not meet the criteria. After being corrupted by chaos, only a dark soul can take an artifact. Only a complete asshole can fully use it. Grants access to powers above the average psyker. Maybe
be used to read the memory (by reading the memory it will know if the criteria is met). However, one must be careful, because the artifact may decide that the new owner is more worthy.

It seems the data files found by Valsen are more than tales of the old Aeldari. With aid from other cultists, she has discovered the pages are filled with secret meanings and hidden images. It will take a long time to understand them all; but perhaps they hold something of great worth…
(Gain The Aeldari Files as an Artifact. A collection of knowledge that has to be researched)

Fits too well with our leader and world for me to pass by
