[X]Princess Ai Song: A girl of 16, daughter of His Imperial Majesty Zi Song, Emperor of China, twin sister of Emperor Ling Song. There is not much known about her as you don't have any contacts within China. But from what you know from rumor, she is a very kind and gentle woman. More suited for diplomacy than the intrigues of court. You do not know what the Emperor is offering like the others, but it might be substantial... Or nothing at all.

Thinking of switching my vote to one which can realistically win: please convince me about Zima over Matilda :)
political stuff we will get drawn into:
Zima: Nobility level*, between intrigue advantage and personal combat skill duels and conspiracies will likley not be an issue.
Matilda: Empire-level, constant Intrigue attacks from players who can out-do Natasha and the finest spies in the Empire's employ.

Martial advantage:
Zima: Two Thousand Elite Heavy Cavalry available immediately. Will likley answer current obligations with General Fulk.
Matilda: Nebulous in both form and time of availability, dependent on out-of-our-control factors like the Empire's civil war level and how helpful the old/new Emperor feels.

*I'm using a personal scale of 'nobility, kingdom, bloc, Empire'. Kingdoms make up the Empire, Blocs are bunches of allied/associated Kingdoms.

...I know I said the dread words 'tech advantage' but really, 99% of royal Chinese brides shipped out of the country were literally never meant to be heard from again. If he's willing to marry her to a filthy barbarian and exile her from China, odds are firmly set against the emperor being fond of his sister. Don't get your hopes up too much, guys.

[X]Zima Królowa
It's a Winged Hussar wife!! what could one want more in life?

Nah. That's how you get your ashes blown away by cannon.

Though I am, too, rather puzzled by the leading choice.

Under CKII rules twins have a stronger relationship.

It's quite possible that she was offered as an option because she was too powerful a marriage option to offer to anyone within China, and not because she's had a poor relationship with her twin(generally imperial princesses were expected to be married out all over China to begin with, so he'd see her about never in either case).

Forgive me if that seems a bit strange. If that were the actual case, that'd mean there'd be nobody in the elites that traditionally would be in the running for a royal relative, nobody powerful enough to use her as a hostage, and nobody loyal enough to get that reward.
That makes China look incredibly weak and feeble.

That does not encourage the idea of us getting anything further out of this beyond a bonus-with-malus character. A very poor deal indeed.

[X]Alva Bijorndottier: A women of 16, fifth-born daughter of Grand Prince Bijorn 'The Redsail' Af Muso. She is one of the oddest marriage requests that came to your attention. A well-known captain and trader in the Baltic sea, she is one of the few women who went to the Imperial Naval Academy in London and is considered one of the best sailors in the empire. But her skill with ships is also backed by a strong sense of finance. Though she is not nearly as rich as the Medici, marrying her will bring over 50 ships under your command.

Remember guys, it was gunpowder that defeated the mongols
And currently, only china has it
Therefore ai song is the best option i feel to beat mongols

Imperial princesses are dime a dozen. They are often used to bind vassal lords and princes through marriage to the provinces(just as the provinces offer their best beauties and noble girls for royal concubines).

The twin sister of the Emperor on the other hand, would be a bigger deal. Whoever gets her would be shown immense favoritism, upsetting the balance of power because the other provinces will pull stupid shit in response. The safe option then is to marry her abroad.

In which case his options are:
-Nearby minor power, which would also tick off the provinces
-Nomad
-Distant major power

The important part for us here is the alliance making long distance trade deals more lucrative and also the more practical case of a dowry fit for an imperial princess. Which would be ...hefty.

Eh, it depends on the current Emperor of China actually agreeing to sending us. There's still a chance, but it's a chance.
I can argue that zima's retinue size is also up to chance :V
And besides, as cool as it is polish hussars are, we need more than cav to beat cav as history shows
Edit: glorious qm @Magoose , what would you do if the tie continues?

Choosing the candidate who was before down to last, and is now tied for last. That is... well, it's certainly something that takes guts and principles. That's more or less what it takes to vote for the independent candidate in a US presidential election.
Oh noes I'm so sorry I offended you with my vote please allow me to change it to your favored choice....yeah no. Other people will join and vote and maybe they will vote in the way you preferred. Just give it some more time
