So long as we stay behind Sentinel we won't be hit by collateral.
And a deliberate aimed attack?
The plan has several major points of failure:
-The older more experienced MGs taking any direction from the younger, unexperienced girls.
-Brave Heart being locked down rather than taking out the most fragile targets to even the odds ASAP.
-Brave Heart not attacking us despite assisting her enemy.
-Our girls being cool and calm rather than on the edge of a mental breakdown over their first kill as we can see right in the latest update.

Optimal action for her is to take out the two of us first, then work her way up through the most fragile opponents.

Whereas, its very unlikely for Brave Heart to actually WIN here, with or without our interference. Our healing won't buy even one round from her attacks. We're thus, taking risks with no gain.

The other options have this risks too. If Brave Heart wants to attack us we will die. The others are shocked and our commands will help that they snap out of it. That is the point. The better heal is more likely that we dont waste time and can heal the wounded faster. The lockdown is our only real chance to survive, with the fewest risks. Because we went the long way we are in this mess. Now Darkkign and I made a plan with the fewest risks and highest chance of success.

Staying passivly there and see how next round another one or we will get slaughtered. And the connection should help us in which way?

between this 2 choices it is obvious which plan is the one who has the better chance to safe us.

Brave Heart does not consider us relevant to the fight.
She's right. Unless we butt in. Our lack of combat experience makes us an active liability in the fight

And it's pretty clear we aren't making a difference here except putting ourselves more in the line of fire. These are experienced girls throwing down. Brave Heart is outclassed, she explicitly got lucky with that.

Finally...the twins are more shocked than the other girls. They just killed their first dude. You do not put a traumatized child right into the thick of things. Refer to the aborted attempt to have two small children try to carry adults.

Thus, the assertion is based upon a fundamentally flawed concept of privileged protagonist. This is not that type of quest. We've had it hammered in repeatedly that we are small children with poor crisis management ability, low defense, low offense, and weak healing.

Leave the fight to the people that know how to fight and stop putting a combat liability into the thick of things. This only disadvantages our own side because now they need to beware of accidentally killing the two kids, whereas Brave Heart has been known to give zero shits.

Actually, this one is not true.
You may want to look at Eva's new Shop-Items again; she got those explicitely because of something she did in the last chapter, which allows Rico to function properly.

Edit: Additionally, you are standing right between Brave Heart and the other Magical Girls right now.

Hmmm
Eva pokes you with more warmth and you slowly poke back... this... even after all of this, now is not the time. You have to be strong and protect your sister... but she is protecting you just fine. Still, you must not be a burden to Judge.
Your hands slowly slip out of their hands and you take a deep breath, Eva's feelings flooding all the bad thoughts away for now.

Using the Connection to drown out bad thoughts by spamming good feels? Then using the feedback loop to goodfeels each other.

I know thats why mostly Eva will act. Even if we just run, it could trigger Brave Heart because she maybe dont want us to escape again. This time we will die, because of her new ability. Staying there and we will be most likely within the crossfire. We are weak and so on, BUT we can move next round, the other MG´s (besides Brave Heart) not. Yelling at them is just that they will act and so on.

As you see there are risks everywhere. And what is if we escape and then we are alone, without knowing what to do, without the ability to survive in the wilderness. And if we met other hostile MG´s we are done for. That was the whole reason to stay with Judge in the first place.

@DarkKing98 the vote tally does not show what your exp plan buys, cause it only sees the last post you mentioned your plan.

Also, after raising our healing spell to level 8, we have 70 EXP left.
We can use that to raise any LVL 3 ability to LVL 5 and get that Bonus.
I suggest investing in Moon's durability, since she can pick up the others excepting One hit kills.

So either Lunar Blessing or Protective Silhouette

Except Brave Heart going for us while we're fleeing means the others will have an easier time fighting her because she gives them all a clear shot.
Whereas Brave Heart going for us while we're going into the middle of the fight to heal makes us an outright liability.

It bears being repeated our girls don't know how to fight. Not how to dodge, not how to parry. They are sitting ducks.
Fleeing does not make the situation worse. Even standing still is not actively making it worse, though it leaves things up to fate.
Yelling at them to act may or may not help. It probably won't hurt.

Going in and trying to help is actively impeding our allies. Please don't.
Noncombatants trying to be hero is what every cop dreads seeing.

Please take note of the fact that Ignition Sentinel was thrown a good fifty metres away. I probably should have made that more clear in the update.

Also for me it was clear that she is a bit of a distance away. Ok i thought it would be mostly 10 metres, but even that would be enough.

(Avatar of Retribution: +3,480 Base Damage, +639 dice = 4,119 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +3,480 Base Damage, +1603 dice = 5,083 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +3,480 Base Damage, +1232 dice = 4,712 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +3,480 Base Damage, +748 dice = 4,228 Damage
Avatar of Retribution: +3,480 Base Damage, +3190 dice = 6,670 Damage

24,812 Total Damage

Ignition Sentinel: +6,500 Base Damage, +3000 Fast Reflexes, +2000 Expected This, dice negated = 11,500 Total Damage Reduction

13,312 Final End Damage

Ignition Sentinel Health: 15,600 - 13,312 = 2,288)

(Ignition Aura: 750 Damage
Brave Heart Health: 2,250 - 750 = 1,500)
For multi-hit abilities, such as the Slash Hell ability used here, the same dice roll applies to each hit. So all 5 hits should says "+639 Dice".

So Ignition Sentinel's should be 4,217 higher right now leaving her at a total of 6,505/15,600.

Considering that that adjustment brings her up to 41.6% of her max Health, I think that would make her no longer be bleeding out.

If you wanted a separate dice roll for each cast, you'd need to use Multi-Caster (Lvl 4) to cast the same spell 5 times in a single action, but then each cast would go up against the target's defenses completely separately.

Huh?
Wait a second...
The Ability Bible leads it back to Double Cast, which says this:
Double Cast: Spell only power. automatically treats spell as having been cast twice.
And when something is cast twice, it should roll the modifier separately.

Um...

I'd like to wait and see. If we hadn't wasted 110 experience we'd have been able to get Otherworldly Radiance. Plus, if my and Dragou's plan works, all we need is the heal.

Crystalwatcher already gave an answer about the math, but as for the ability bible thing, as it's written, it's not very good at explaining the differences between hitting multiple times with a single attack and attacking multiple times in a single action.

The difference between the following two abilities.
Double Cast: Spell only power. automatically treats spell as having been cast twice.
Multi-Caster: Allows the Caster to cast multiple spells in a single action.

The difference between the following two abilities.

Actually, the difference is rather simple.
Double Cast is something that you put on a Spell, so it counts as being cast twice.

Multi-Caster is something you have on your weapon, which allows you to cast any of your Spells several times within one action.

Actually, Multi-Caster can go on either Weapons or Spells.

The biggest difference between Double Cast on a Spell and Multi-Caster (Lvl 1) on a Spell is that Multi-Caster treats each cast as a completely separate damage calculation.

Multi-Caster also makes it much easier to have each cast target a different enemy.

So... uh...
You know, it is good to see discussion and several opinions... but right now, everything is tied.

Alright I guess I'll break it then, seems to me because of the connection we're in a better spot to react faster or get over the shock then anyone else.

Uh, do we want to specify anything in terms of moving beyond running after we tell judge to restrain her? I mean we are in the middle of this, Judge and co on one side and the one favored by the dice gods on the other.

Hm. Much as I like being pro-active, I support veekie's side of the argumentation.

Wouldn't tie the vote over that, though.

I mean you feel that is the best course of action I'd say vote for it. I'm not to sure what we can do against someone like her right now, either we hopefully get judge to stop her or hopefully hope they do something on their own.
Allies:
-Primordial Moon: 550 / 550; slightly shaken
-Primordial Sun: 700 / 700; slightly shaken
-Iron Memento: Unharmed; surprised
-Mirror Memento: Unharmed; shocked
-Judge: 750 / 750; surprised
-Ignition Sentinel: 2,288 / 15,600; dying
-Ludger: 120/120; ready
Do these tell you they're ready to spring into action? I'm not sure myself.

Also God damn Ludger not a hint of hesitation, I'm starting to like you as much as Fable's 2 and three dogs, you better never die.
