Seeing as you've said that his powers are cleansed but then went on to pass when asked what Ichigo is that implies some interesting things...

Wonder what you would call a hollow that got cleansed but is still a hollow....

Would be pretty funny if Zangetsu turned out to have become some sort of holy hollow.

Zangetsu, while important, can wait. We just had a discussion about how we keep passing up chances to interact with other characters. I don't want to continue that trend. Komamura was my first choice, but plan Shiba is good, too.

Yes, in theory meeting with other people can wait, but the next chance to meet with any of them is going to have interesting alternatives, too, and we'll be right back here again. Go socialize, Ichigo.

Someone get us the Hogyoku, it's Hollowfication time! What's even the point of being Ichigo if we can no longer be a walking crime against nature?!

I dunno; we've known TPK likes mathematician's answers for long enough that him taking a chance to give another one isn't exactly interesting.

While this is entirely true, I think the advice we'll get (and Komamura's opinion of us) will be more useful if we actually talk to Zangetsu first.

But seriously, this kind of blows. Ichigo has always relied on him being the result of what may as well be a super soldier program to beat creatures with centuriea of experience on him.

Kenpachi: Won thanks to his Hollow mask protecting him from his last blow

Byakuya: Won thanks to White taking over when he was exhausted

Grimjaw: Won thanks to the power up from his Hollow mask

Ulquiorra: Won thanks to his mask power up and his Hollow transformation

Aizen: Won thanks to his everything

Yhwach: Also won thanks to his everything

The only plot important fight that I think Ichigo won with just his Shinigami powers after the initial Karakura arc is the one against Renji at SS.

We'll deal I guess.

Except back then his shinigami powers were just some paper knock offs his quincy powers cooked up so that he didn't become an actual shinigami.

This time, we're running at 100% efficiency from the start, we just don't get the exp boosts from fighting so hard to save the life of our friend.

Captain Kenpachi Zaraki will not kill us if we aren't good enough to survive.
A captain that randomly kills other soul reapers just because they aren't good enough wouldn't last. Yes, Kenpachi will kick our ass all over the place, and then be very disappointed we didn't put up a better fight, but he won't kill us.
He's a blood knight that loves fighting, and loves challenging fights; not a psycho that loves killing.

And who's to say we aren't going to put up a decent fight, anyway?

    I'm more curious with how this one plays out. I'm also still rooting for 13th squad, so DogManBro's offer isn't that important to me.

    Also, this partially explains why we can't do more than one, if Appeasing Zangetsu is an ongoing thing.
