I kinda want perception boosts but I suppose it's best to build up basic stats first

Out of all the options available, I think that we need both armour and a weapon.

Venom is a great weapon; it will allow us to injure an opponent and then let it be weak while we finish it off. Perhaps now, with the extra armour, we can actually fight?
[X] Dig open a burrow in the dirt to protect you from the rain
It's best to stay dry and warm, so a safe hole in the ground will do so. Also, this can be a good place to store any remaining meat that we pulled or any that we might get in the future.

Teir 1 creature sizes can be literally anything smaller than a person. Creatures only become tier 2 if they grow to match or surpass an average human's height.

Or it is doing pretty much the same thing as what we are doing, which is scavenging dead creatures and gaining their abilities. That means we might have to watch out for it in the future, since it could have evolved into some thing extremely powerful

also for the love of god people investigate is free action take advantage of it were missing to many chances to figure out what the fuck were up against and information is key here so for the love of me not losing my fucking mind pls investigate.
