Waking up you get out of bed before performing several stretches to loosen your body out. You recall Magnus's words before you woke on how Rin was still here. "Best go and find her before she does anything" you say to yourself.

Getting out of your room you head to the quest room to check on Tohsaka

<She has gone to the dining room> Mangus's voice echoes in your head. <I must teach you how to see souls in the near future.>

You nod in silent thanks to Magnus as you now head to the dining room. Once you arrive you see that Rin is nervously sitting down at the table on one of the cushions. "Good morning Tohsaka san" you greet her, "it's a little different than what you're used to" you comment referring to her homes western theme, then again she is a magus who scorn those in the east as 'orientals'.

<Most humans have a habit of looking down on what they perceive as below them > Magnus reminds you <this usually is a factor in their inevitable downfall.> He is also speaking from personal experience there, best to take heed of Mangus's warnings.

"Good morning Emiya san" Rin greet you before moving on to answer reply to your comment "yes I am more used to using chairs."

Heading over to the fridge you find that there is still quite a bit of left over rice, you note that you should learn to cook in the future or have Taiga learn to cook since Kiritsugu can't. Taking two bowls of rice you heat them up in the microwave before bringing them both to the table setting one down for Rin and another for yourself.

"Rice?" Rin questions not sure why you are having this in the morning.

"I'm not sure why you are so surprised" you reply as you begin eating "though if you really did have to ask Kiritsugu san is a terrible cook and given my experiments and studies I have yet to learn how to cook properly." You briefly pause before adding "that is something I intend to rectify in the near future."

Rin seems focused, concentrating on something, as if she is gathering courage to do something.

<She intends to ask you about that comment I had you make about her legal guardian> Magnus informs you, confirming your suspicions <Let her ask first and then tell her what she is desiring to ask, keep in control of the flow of conversation.>

"Emiya san" Rn began on que "there is something that I would like to ask."

"You wish to ask about that comment I made in reference to your legal guardian" you inform Rin, who' eyes widen when you say this. Before she can ask how you go on to say "you would eventually come to back to that, if not now then later, better to get over with it now."

<There is no need to beat around this bush, it is best if you tell it to the girl plain and simple> Magnus instructs.

"From what Kiritsugu has told me of the fourth Grail War is that at the end it was him and a man named Kirei Kotomine facing off against each other, at the end of the confrontation the Magus Killer shot Kotomine in the heart with one of his origin bullets" you explain. "So while the chances of him being alive are nil, the fact that he can use magecraft is even further improbable."

"How do you know that this is the truth?" Rin asks. Technically Kiritsugu didn't but he did tell Magnus who filled you in on it later, though it should be obvious that Magnus would tell you at some point if it is important.

You could just call Kiritsugu here and have him tell her the events of the recent Grail War or you could scry it for her, the former is safer though unlike the latter she can choose to refuse to believe Kiritsugu.
