[X] The crypt of a forgotten abstract concept, where you badly scare someone very important

You shouldn't be in the crypt of something as wild as an abstract concept and not expect a jump scare.

Sounds like Amiti didn't forget Instructor Sai by their next meeting after all
Btw, how can Amiti possibly know this? By interrogating ghosts who knew about it?

On another note, I don't really care which option win. Sure, I have a favorite, but what's cool in this quest is that I'm hardly ever frustrated by the results of the votes because in general they're all pretty fun.

You don't forget general information like "Sidereals are Exalts who work for Heaven, they sometimes help out with Wyld Hunts", just individual Sidereals. Although if you try to write that information down Arcane Fate destroys the records. Knowing about Sidereals does make it easier for someone to remember an individual Sidereal, though, by a little. If Amiti's mentor explained this to her, she'd remember it even if she currently doesn't recall from who.

I hope that helps and makes you feel better about Grace being beholden to him through an open ended favour!
I do actually feel better a bit, I had the deeply unpleasant thought that he might be upset with Maia getting in the way of the Vendetta. Knowing that he probably didn't want the civil war to kick off right then and there gives a bit more leeway to that.

Yeah, he's all for the Vendetta, he'd just prefer that the Iselsi don't go extinct over that, which is likely to happen if they stay the course when the sky is falling.

Sadly, the actual Iselsi didn't get that memo, and he doesn't have so much influence that he can dictate terms to them--he keeps them from getting caught and being noticed by secular authorities or the Bronze Faction bigwigs, not giving them orders. But it does mean he's likely going to call in that favor to have Grace cover up one of their terrorist actions, or possibly to bury the fact that an Iselsi was cooperating with a Lunar Anathema to hopefully burn the Realm down.

The secluded meeting would also be good, but this just seems juicily weird. Also, a Sidereal having to confront a "forgotten abstract concept" seems like an entertaining bit of turnabout.

She reveals one of the great secrets of the Second Age with truly remarkable disinterest, utterly flummoxing you.
Ayy lmao, that's our girl!

Lmao x2, of fucking course. This is going to be so messy.

Beside her, Amiti is kneeling on the blood-stained floor, tears flowing down her face and freezing on her pallid cheeks.
Awww. You know, aside from the stress of one of her closest friends being in mortal danger, I have to imagine this situation is particularly grueling for Amiti: imagine having to deal with Arcane Fate as a non-Sidereal, who isn't actually subject to it, but who sees everyone around her inexplicably forgetting things she remembers just fine, and making (or almost making) bad decisions out of fear because of it, while you know the truth but can't effectively explain it to them. Fortunately I'm sure this is the only situation in which Amiti encounters a problem like that in her interpersonal relationships!

"She's too young to even leave a ghost, probably!"
Awww man x2. What a bittersweet notion. Yes I can see my loved ones after they're gone, so long as they die badly and with unfinished business so that they're tied to the world by trauma in a state of perpetual unresolved grief. Comforting!

In fact that's even in the Immaculate Texts, apparently, if you know where to look, though the details are vague and it doesn't seem like anyone would be likely to figure it out if they didn't already know.

Clean up for this could be very useful, letting us make sure Maia doesn't get "wtf why did you go against Iselsi orders?!" issues. (In turn helping Ambraea)

Feels a bit too useful for what the option was, though.

Watch Ambraea inventing a new way of staying as a ghost, sans trauma.
"My Hearth still needs me and they are here. Nope, not leaving!"

I'm really curious to see how this plays out, actually! They are definitely a death cult, but Maia is already an example that it's hard to make the conditioning perfect. They spent a lot of their recent existence with a promise of future redemption by the Empress. What this all means to individual Iselsi is inevitably complicated.
