That said I actually would have preferred for Emir to perform remove Frightened ritual himself.

I agree with you. But our AP is valuable, and we need it to prepare better for the Expedition.

I think if we take Ashley then most preparations are already done unless we want to throw one more influence on her, but even then it is only one action. Since we will have Grail influence I'd rather focus on socials rest of the turn

Charlotte's ritual casting roll will look like this:

42 Cadre + 30 Place + 20 Lore = 92

We need 110/150 to get +30/40 Influence.

What do you people think about Mopsy creating level 2 Grail reagent to guarantee +30 Influence? There are two tasks that would use it, so I think it would be worth it. But we are pretty late into the voting, so I want to get everyone else's opinion if I should change it.

You'd only need a Grail 1 reagent to guarantee +30 btw. You're missing her Piety Stat from the roll.
 
One question regarding Going for the Cradle: how is a Dappled Wing supposed to help Delilah this turn? She is joining Charlotte for diplomatic talks with Blastgerm, and Wings cannot perform such actions.

They don't apply for the expedition, Edge Influence call is going to be at least +95, and if we talk to Delilah we'll be under the Grail Influence. Wouldn't it be better to squeeze more money and maybe not take the plane if rolls are good?

Cadre is already 49, actually. So with Piety it would be 108.
So, maybe an Edge reagent instead to make sure Ashley also gets +30 (and more likely she gets +40)?

I know, that is why I didn't say that. It is supposed to do whatever else she needs doing. Like being a bodyguard in case the talks turn sour.

That depends on what we are doing next turn. I would like for us to get a scrap in Forge, spend time with Charlotte, and study the Moth artifact/spend time with Sol.

Reroll could also be useful in unexpected situations that might, for example, arise from getting the Cradle's artifact. Sun Spark is supposed to be somewhat prophetic, so it could prepare perfect alibi that we didn't leave our town if we fail to exit China neatly.

So we get all the bonuses if different people call different influences on us?
As far as I understand it is "each person can only have one Called Influence", not "each person can only Call one Influence"
So different people Calling an Influence on us won't work, but us calling it on different people would.

We are almost certainly going to be outnumbered, and I would say there is more than an insignificant chance that if we take too long, a parahuman(s) will appear. I would call that Influence just to be sure.
 
Okay. So. Am I still leaning toward postponing the Cradle? Yes. However...

...it annoys me that the leading (and pretty much only, since the other is a variant) go-to-Cradle option has the Dappled Wings, which we spent a bunch of money on summoning to go steal artifacts, not doing that. Like, c'mon! We have a deception-spec'd Name summoned, if she can't interfere with attempts to trace back the thefts in the heart of the cult's power if people start poking around, then what is she even good for?? She's even going to be in her Forge aspect next turn, which has the ability to destroy recorded information at range.
