Honestly I'm expecting Ouro to ACTUALLY start to understand Defense Tactics better at least at entry level after this mission. She has someone pushing her to learn it and she's finally starting to realize that, unlike chess, she can run out of not only pieces on the board, but also of ammo, which means she has to fight hand-to-hand.
@Mechasaurian, am I right in thinking that she will actually learn something after this combat mission? I can see why you didn't want to narratively give the Engineering skill. It just wouldn't make sense narratively and I hope that by reading the Sangvis Ferri product catalog and technical manuals on the way back and spending time with Architect we can still unlock that skill, but right now it would make sense to get Defensive Tactics after the mission.... even if the reward in the form of new T-dolls or something else will be less. It really upsets me that our self-righteous snake is FULLY incompetent at something.
And yes, just for fun: can you describe exactly what you think others think of Ouro right now in your opinion? Hunter? Geiger? Gryphon? Agent? Dreamer? Architect?
I'm pretty sure most of them have a "pure and unadulterated love" for our snake..... with a desire to strangle her in an alley somewhere, yes.
Except that in the canon of the SF game she had a pretty serious reputation despite others clearly knowing how she was created and that our Ouro is snapping at Agent.... on the one hand is admirable, but on the other hand you don't want to mess with her because she just screams that if you get close to her you'll get so much trouble from all sides that you won't want anything. In some ways it's even similar to what happens with Dreamer and that in itself makes you admire her..... from a few kilometers away in a bunker, yeah.
