If this is spreading then Piggy would probably want to know.

If her merchandise starts keeling over and she finds out we knew about it before hand that'll invoke, consequences.

[X] Talked with Piggy (SE Pt 1 yields Negotiate With Piggy - White Gold)

[X] Studied personal refinement (SE Pt 1 yields Dual Cultivation Training)

Yeah, not taking Piggy up on whatever this is.

[X] Kept exploring his options (SE Pt 1 Continues)

This is a Chaos ship. I'm pretty sure it has it's own ecosystem somewhere. Wait till Yon meets Orks.

Unrelated to the current vote, not sure if someone has done this before, but reading through I had to notice that a lot of options are presented in fours. Not all of them, but a lot.

This made me think that maybe there's some background tracking of what god these options belong to, and if perhaps the votes we take might be something that affects things as we go on.

So I thought I'd see about maybe mapping out what we might be looking at. Bolded options are winning options.

[ ] [Work] Medical Pavilion - grinding up medicine and providing basic healing - Papa Nurgle
[ ] [Work] Artisan Annex - long hours shaping materials - Slaanesh
[ ] [Work] Hunting Division - routine harvesting of spirit beasts - Khorne
[ ] [Work] Scriptorium Complex - copying out basic texts - Tzeentch

[ ] [Contact] Young Master - the great-great nephew of an old monster likes trading pointers with Yon - Khorne
[ ] [Contact] Genius Outsider - a nobody with surprising talent leans on Yon for favours - Tzeentch
[ ] [Contact] Jade Beauty - one of the sect's fairies counts Yon as a reliable lackey - Slaanesh
[ ] [Contact] Noble Scion - the heir of an allied clan uses Yon as a gofer within the sect - Nurgle?

[ ] Blood of a Living Forge - a hunt will be needed for this dangerous spirit beast - Khorne
[ ] Umbral Crescents - these toxic fungi are found in the lightless crypts of the Deep Archives - Tzeentch
[ ] Sarcophagus Sphagnum - this desiccating moss can be found in the moors nearby - Nurgle
[ ] Quicksilver Honey - made by prism bees along the mountain flanks of the Sect - Slaanesh

[ ] Violence - Khorne
[ ] Sabotage - Tzeentch
[ ] Bribery - Slaanesh (?)
[ ] Cooperation - Nurgle (?)
I'm not sure on this one at all, though well, I'm sure for the one we picked.

[ ] Push to do as best as he possibly can - Slaanesh
[ ] Don't stand out one way or the other, just do a good job - Khorne
[ ] Sandbag a bit, be underestimated - Tzeentch
[ ] Hang back to help those struggling - Nurgle
My argument for this one mostly amounts to Slaanesh liking to stand out, so I cannot see any option other than doing their best being Slaanesh, whereas I can see either doing best or just doing a good job as Khorne approved.

[ ] Take up Gosrick's invitation - Slaanesh?
[ ] Explore the permitted areas - Khorne?
[ ] Join other disciples on liberty - Nurgle
[ ] Spend the time studying - Tzeentch
Not sure on this one either, I feel it could go either way between Slaanesh and Khorne again, but Gosrick kept harping on about sex, getting dicks wet, etc, while the blood pit stuff only came up after it was accepted, so I'm fairly comfortable with Slaanesh.

[ ] Head straight to Madam Silk's for the rest of the group - Nurgle?
[ ] Go to the blood pits to see if anyone is still there - Khorne
[ ] Attempt to rally and see if there is anything else interesting at the Squealing Pig - Tzeentch?
[ ] Go home with Cinder - Slaanesh?
This mostly is me going with option one being Nurgle due to the focus on Nurgle's people having camaraderie/sticking together, even though yeah, Madam Silk's was also a sex shop (a higher end one, even)

If this isn't just me pointlessly reading into nothing, that would put us at (maybe, depending on interpretations being correct)

Slaanesh - 4
Khorne - 2
Nurgle - 1
Tzeentch - 0

Anyways for this vote, I uh... think I'm good when it comes to weird sex stuff for now.

, not sure if someone has done this before
Nice catch, people did, but it is cool you independently noticed.

I do think people try to put it in places it doesn't fit though, like
[ ] [Contact] Young Master - the great-great nephew of an old monster likes trading pointers with Yon - Khorne
[ ] [Contact] Genius Outsider - a nobody with surprising talent leans on Yon for favours - Tzeentch
[ ] [Contact] Jade Beauty - one of the sect's fairies counts Yon as a reliable lackey - Slaanesh
[ ] [Contact] Noble Scion - the heir of an allied clan uses Yon as a gofer within the sect - Nurgle
I don't think this fit, some picks are obviously the four, others are just four options because it is convenient number between variety and not too much variety.

The Five Elements - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water - are likely to come up pretty frequently in more traditional cultivation stories, with gold being a particularly notable / pure expression of Metal. But as you say, in 40k gold is strongly associated with the Emperor and his Golden Throne.

Whether gold in-setting is significant because the Emperor uses it or the Emperor uses it because it's significant in setting, I'm not going to guess.
They put their four elements on the eight pointed star of chaos undivided along with the gods, elements on the cardinal points and gods on the intermediate ones. So a five element system, implies a belief in a fifth co-equal chaos god, presumably a golden one.

Not necessarily, I think the implications is that the system of regular xianxia, aka, orthodox cultivators and demonic ones, is basically switched around.

The demonic cultivation is what would usually be considered regular cultivation in a "normal" setting, and worshipping the four chaos gods and demons would normally be considered demonic.

[X] Talked with Piggy (SE Pt 1 yields Negotiate With Piggy - White Gold)

Definitely going with this one. Not only does it include I forming Piggy of a potential problem for her arising from sect-people mingling with hers (as has been pointed out), I think it would further please her to have a cultivation method so obviously tied to her patron coming from Yon. Getting a privileged position under her is our best way to get out of the regular cultist militia destined for the meatgrinder.

The thing people do for cultivation resources…

I personally vote for it because people should know about this and the risks, and it makes us more useful for piggy, would probably vote against if given another vote of if to use the resources.

Aside from personal preference, I think it gives Piggy too much blackmail over us, our influence amongst the sect mates is a very useful source of techniques, we are positioned to capitalize on it soon.

Kind of curious that dual cultivation need semen or breast milk, that implies the only ones to benefit from it are either girls or men if they keep their partner constantly pregnant, drugs to induce breast milk and non hetro pairing also benefit more frequently for it.

Yon seem pretty accepting of if she wanted a dick, so that implies pretty progressive culture compared to the expected from a primitive world, can probably be attributed to slannash and LGBTQ cultivators who would kill anyone saying anything to them, I would guess dual cultivation too if we weren't told Yon using the leftover sperm wasn't a social hit, or maybe the social repercussions that more about who this came from and without their consent.

Edit

[X] Kept exploring his options (SE Pt 1 Continues)

I think I changed my mind, want to increase our reputation, girls who are sleeping with cultivators having problems should become obvious by itself.

Iron sharpens iron and cocks sharpen cocks. Don't worry, Cinder, we'll get you closer to your dream body. (And definitely won't sacrifice your cultivation potential by using you as a living cauldron because we're the Good Guys)
