Honestly I think there's like a few things that are worth noting about our current plan.

1: Jinx isn't an idiot. She's been around the Undercity long enough to recognize what Viktor's disease is, probably, or at least recognize the signs.

2. Viktor probably won't accept help. The man is weirdly prideful and determined to stick to his ideals -and, I think, part of that means dying for progress rather than wasting away.

More importantly, he might keep lying to Jinx because he believes his diagnosis is terminal. Which is shitty but eh, makes sense.

That being said, I think the best thing to do is to aggressively tell Viktor that we're going to help. Yeah, Viktor might protest, but he's smart enough to realize that Jinx won't let this go and self-aware enough to realize that having the help of another genius will help. Plus, with the removal of the magic ban, we have a few new avenues of research…

(I really hope this doesn't cause Jinx to spiral)

The cut the crap Viktor write in is a tad aggressive for a Victor already strained by the best of Jayce intentions. Sick people don't respond well to the "Your being stubborn and dismissive? Well so can I." Approach in general.

Jinx wouldn't be aware of anyone with healing magic like that in Piltover. Healing magic that can undo debilitating/life threatening injury seems to be pretty rare in Runeterra, considering everything Singed got up to trying to save his daughter and the activities of Viktor's machine cult.

There are characters in the wider League of Legends Lore who could probably fix Viktor's condition (Soraka's lore has her curing Zaunites afflicted by The Grey) but in Piltover and Zaun they're just rumors from distant lands.

I think I prefer this one. While canon Jinx wouldn't go for it, I can see this Jinx doing it. I could see the Kirammans doing that to her at some point in the past several years and then her going "goddammit I hate it but you're right and I'm gonna use that against someone else at some point."

It took Hextech & Shimmer to save him after he was blown up, but for his long-term condition I think we still have a decent amount of time, with Shimmer we might be able to cure him, or we could design some Hextech prosthetics for lungs & other failing organs.

Also with mages being legal & the Hexgates up & running, contracting one of the world's best healing mages using our Hextech profits is actually pretty realistic, which could serve as a one-off to save Viktor or even help create a general solution by reverse engineering healing spells into Hextech.

Singed is also an option with Viktor's prior connection, but I would be cautious and wait until we try a more magical approach with our Hextech team focussing on this intensively before resorting to his methods.

Overall, we have a lot of options but Viktor needs to let medical Hextech be the next project. We had Hexgates, Hydroponics, and Water Filters, yet rather than bringing up his condition and letting us focus on turning Hextech to medicine he went for mining equipment. Viktor needs to lean on us a bit more and bring his optimism for Hextech to the fight against his own declining health.

I wasn't thinking "helping" in that way... actually. It's not even cross my mind, maybe it should lol
I was thinking on more, we help Vic on his project or seek doctor for him. Or just plain friend trying to help sick friend.

One issue I'm seeing with a lot of the write-ins trying to persuade Viktor to get medical help/advice is that it doesn't offer much guidance on what happens if Viktor's stubbornness and denial keeps being an issue. The vote options were all focused around how to handle things if he keeps being stubborn and refusing to get help.

Trying to keep persuading him is fine, but if the roll fails what happens next?

A major reason I don't want Jinx talking to someone else is that she holds the Zaun value of no snitching. She isn't gonna let it go and pushing Victor is just gonna make him clam up or get defensive. This is the best way to try and have him think like a scientist and observe the situation from a third party perspective.
Decent odds that he still tries to write it off as being not the same, but I'm sure Jinx would call bullshit on that without us needing to specify it

What has our Shimmer research accomplished? Do we think it actually would have health benefits in like a refined form?
