Lux Visit. A shame. Still, at least she didn't have to see Ser-Bear all over Jinx.

How scandalized would Lux be if the caught Jinx and Seraphine holding hands?!

Anyway I just love all of Seraphine moments with Jinx, brings me joy seeing Jinx having such a positive relationship:

The Hand Holding!

In hindsight, maybe I should've warned people before I put something as scandalous as hand holding into the story. At least I didn't specify that their fingers were interlaced, or I'd have to go back and add an explicit content warning to the update.

This is confusing me. Jinx mean she doesn't like it if her food make people sick, right?

Waving?

It's almost certainly supposed to be "I'd feel like shit if any of the food I put out into the world that got people sick."

Yeah, a couple of spelling errors slipped through the cracks. I do an editing pass before posting and have a friend spot check updates, but sometimes stuff slips through.

Looks like Seraphine might tie with the most popular ship at this point. She's the only one with a chance with so much screen time setting up.

Anyway what's the effects of actually giving the speech. We know canon Jayce chickens out and Noxus still comes to weapons it. So all three actions except Jinx giving it has a change at the same thing happening.

If the speech is given will we gain too much foreign attention or will they put each other in check?

Did Piltover get more mage refugees over the years due to new mage law? Are there mage enforcers?

Like, we know that in the show those were designed because they wanted an excuse to give Vi her gauntlets and Jayce his hammer,
Jayce was making Hextech so the Everyman could use it. Of course he'd start from the lowest. Problem is in the show he didn't know about Silco. Here he does so it doesn't make sense to me, why he make this.

We already let the genie open,if any agreement against weaponizing hextech is to come it will have to be on the open with each nation understanding the potential and its risks
The genie isn't really open. The Hexgates, water filter, and food are infrastructure projects. They may have indirect usage but calling them military projects might as well be calling everything military projects.

Hextech gauntlets and lasers are direct personal weapons as we see with Vi in canon. Second problem is only Zaun will need those mining gloves and that puts it in Silco's reach as a weapon.

Wouldn't the Hextech gates be able to function as railguns? Assuming they can turn off the safeties, being able to propel something with enough force to throw it across the continent could definitely wipe out a city or two.

I'm not saying we should do this, but it could be a good deterrence for a MAD situation with Noxus.
They used the same tech throwing those boxes when they fought Noxus at the end.

Even if we lose, I don't see any downside to Jinx resenting the conservative yoke Heimerdinger places upon their work. Succeed or fail, we'll stay winning.

Even then, they're not really workman's tools. A hextech mining implement would look like a jackhammer, not a powerfist.

Well, all of this seems quite reasonable but Honestly, spending 1 point here seems like a decent investment

If Viktor hates going out on stage enough to trigger a roll, we can let him sit this out.
Yes. Viktor likes fading into the background, leaving Jinx and Jayce to deal with all of the smarmy sorts. He hates the progress day posters with him on them more than they hate Them combined.

Not interested in pushing a grown adult to give a speech against their will. Dude knows what he's about at this point.

One this is a compromise, Jayce would prefer to not show the tech off, and Victor would prefer to not go on stage. We've trained to be good at politics making the result where no one is fully happy is perfectly in character. :V

But also, Victor does want to both do good for Zaun and also to be remembered, because he understands his time is short. Yes, he is also very introverted which fights with his wish to be remembered for doing good. Its a small thing but he should be there with the rest of the group not allowing himself to fully fade into a background figure of history and development, likely partially because he thinks his presence may taint the message.

It's also worth considering that a *very* public reminder that two out of the three big People of Progress are originally from Zaun/the Undercity could do a lot to help, since a lot of the issues between Piltover and Zaun are not just about inequality, but also about perception and image.
