I had a little chucking seeing the Pagliacci reference.

Valerius definitely thought she was walking to her death. During a time where everyone is worried about a civil war, she chose to *demand* a meeting with a Primarch. A meeting in which she planned to confront said Primarch for alleged excessive cruelty and ruthlessness to "disloyal" populations. A meeting that, if her accusations were true, would almost definitely cause her to be viewed as one of those "disloyal" populations. You have to respect the integrity it takes to do that.

I know it is a long shot but I am hoping we won't be gone too long from Magnus perspective if we end up.coming back to the timeline.
