I'm really not liking the implication that they are sticking petriform in people's heads en mass. Considering the last time someone used it as a weapon, seems like they learned the trick! And then decided to stick shapes in people's brains.

This was stupidly on-point I assume? (I think this happened because Dreamshapes got a massive PR boost from White Sun, and because their tricks seem to work [see: Sympathy] so people gleefully employ them without caring about the details)

"Geometric countermeasures" forcing a complete reset and waste of energy seems really good for us, although that is no longer on the table for us. Pretty funny too how most of our best Attributes got refined?
 
It's probably bad that I kinda hope we can make friends with the Decahedron, it's slight bits of personality at times is endearing. (*Sees entity crack joke about funny bones while in the process of killing me* "Wow new blorbo" good thing shapes aren't real or I'd be in trouble :V) Of course between it and Gen I'd much prefer Gen lives, but the idea of a another weirdo perminently added to our mental entourage is fun.

Fellow thoughtforms a more perfect situation cannot be called for. Now that we know what hides inside the vile innerds of the horse we will literally cut this champion of the shapes in half (make sure Half's are not symmetrical though). And in doing so we will get one step closer to getting the Arete nessecary for bringing Utopia to the masses. For who else can boast about being infiltrated and ambushed at such scale by one of the greatest enemys of the non-symmetrical but live to tell the tale, let alone defeating the foe that had done it.

Just by slaying this champion I estimate we will have built 0.0001% of Utopia a MASSIVE gain. It is unlikely to say the least that we will get many more opportunities like this to murder blender a foe who's slaying is worth any arete, let alone one worth so much, in the waking world.

Although one complication I foresee is getting people to believe our deed since... it's all happening in our heads.

Jests aside, damn. I been jesting about recreating the events of the Trojan War to arete maxx in my previous posts but it seems the QM was way ahead of me all this time with the Trojan horse. Very humbled right now. (Which is bad for arete maxxing by the way)

You know I'm really not sure how much stock I should put in Rhythms being the only option with our name in it. But I choose to believe the 'with artifice' either refers to S.O.P.H.I.A directly choosing to lend a hand here or us somehow managing to utilize GEN.

You're so right, dodecahedrons are LAME! Unlike the cooler, visually distinct regular polygons like triangles and squares. Twelve sides is way more than you will ever need, at that point you might as well just be a circle. You can't even make a lattice out of them, they're too fat.

Well, you've been foreshadowing it from the start, so I'm going to assume that you've hidden more in the earlier updates, but I don't have the energy to try puzzling out any more oblique, uncontextualized snippets. I bet you're pleased as punch for finally hitting the first story climax in one of your quests. That last part was intended as a subtle dig for abandoning THRONE//FRINGE for so long, you slacker.
Also, could you please run your updates through a grammar checker in the future? I've been noticing some minor errors throughout the last couple of updates. I don't strongly care if you choose not to change it, but ungrammatical writing brings the experience down for me.

Ha! FRINGE just kind of collapsed under its plot weight for me, honestly. If I ever revisited FRINGE it would be as a reboot or a timeskip forward with a better format for it.

Definitely was an experience I learned a lot from though. I have much more discipline in following through and planning now.

Is there a decent one that doesn't use AI? Google docs is not super helpful for the small grammar stuff like that.

Also it appears that D5h is a decahedron, rather than a dodecahedron. My mistake. Ten is still way too many sides though, so I stand by my previous remarks. They are merely very overweight, rather than morbidly obese.

If by AI you mean large language models, then no. Every effective grammar checker uses it. Unless you have an English teacher who can beta-read for you, you're plain out of luck. Don't worry about it, it's not that bad. Consider it a plus that grammar is the only area I can find fault with in this quest.

Yeah, I definitely appreciate the comments regardless. Past Dreams definitely caught some bad habits which are a pain in the butt to fix manually, especially for such big updates (which may also be why these errors happen). I will take a look to see what options I have on the grammar checkers.

I'm just kind of incredibly sad for Illuminata, because this means that there is now a plague of Dreamshapes wearing the faces of veterans. Fucked up. (And also that Capitalism is subverted by Demons, which checks out).

Anything but Rhythms , thay are overused and just plain boring. I consider Noosphere the more interesting choice , but Living Weapon would suffice.
