Disco Elysium meets time travel fantasy. You are Gloria Ecclesia Malvorn, youngest princess of a fallen kingdom, and you killed the bastard emperor responsible in a grand suicide attack. Life refuses to let you go, and you find yourself transported back in the past when your kingdom was still whole and alive. When you look into a mirror, a stranger's face greets you. When you close your eyes, there is nothing to be found before that dingy motel room. Is there even a ‘you’ in there? It’s probably best to try and find the person matching the face, either in your own head or out there in the city.
VOLITION - (Trivial - Critical Failure)
The deviled egg on the window seal, I don't know how long that's been there, but you should eat that.
You awaken on - and partly in - an abandoned beach. You don't know who you are or what you're meant to be doing, other than a vague sense that someone probably took care of it, and everything's probably fine. The wilderness of Terra isn't the best place to be a confused amnesiac, but thankfully you're also supernaturally durable and strong enough to break rocks with your teeth.
Time to be a hero, or a feral disaster of a fish woman.
Your head hurts, your breath stinks of alcohol, it's hard to stay awake, and oh yeah you have an entire facility to manage.
