Before you all start asking, you'll get your plot-mandated new form from Fuji next update. Feel free to begin speculation.
Plunder Patroll, Mermail/Atlantean, and something else.
On an unrelated note, I've been rewatching Kamen Rider Gaim recently. Did you know that the Kamen Rider season about fruit samurai was written by the same guy behind MADOKA MAGICA?
So THAT'S why both titular MCs ascend to become God at the end!

AH sleep the wonders it does to you. It keeps you healthy...and makes you miss when episodes drop. Lol. Great chapter, those rolls were WELL spent. Also ah the KR is a rookie like us! He is totally gonna get trauma and character development later, also is a certain someone a Splatoon fan, because some of the attack names just screams Splatoon to me. Just me?. Ok then. As for the plan of attack... need to think about it.

Say, I just had a thought: If the Void was based on the Shadow Realm, then does that mean there's a BBEG that made it?

[ ] Maximum Wonderland [Malice/SSS]
[ ] An Elegant Solution [SSS]

Im homestly torn between these two, mostly leaning Maliss since it uses both armors, but An elegant solution uses the gateway. My ideal plan would be a mix of both, but I suck at making write ins. As for the KR?
[ ] Squid Blast!
Im all in for this.
Will wait for a later date to vote, since Ive got a couple of things to do.

Wait a goddamn minute......name is Mako, strong connection to the sea, his default/go-to form has a SHARK theming.......is one of the options for our form we get from this guy gonna be The Legendary Fisherman?

......why do I keep missing these references. Dang it. Thats a good point.... so Legendary Fisherman, Plunder Patrol and Mermail/Atlantean are the probable spirits?

Eh, Plunder Patroll is the only given imo, since it's the only actual Pirate archetype in yugioh. I'd give better odds to Captain Carrie from Gold Pride being an option over Mermail/Atlantean, as she's the only other pirate-themed monster afaik.

[ ] Plan WATER PILE DUNKER!!!!!
You're in Shibuya. Are you sure that you'll find a big enough body of water in time for this to work? Remember, it's line of sight.

You've both got good guesses, but one of the spirits that you'll get is nowhere on this list.

[ ] An Elegant Solution [SSS]

We have to use this. Pirates and ninjas team up versus flame demons from hell, there's no other way.

I know what I said and I don't know if this is formatted properly. A mix of the Maliss and SSS actions while Fuji Plays cannoneer in the backrow. Please dissect this. I suck at making write ins. Also not much water to go around.
[X] Plan: Quenching Flames: Debuff Edition
-[X] Rei's Actions:
-[X] Start off by Using SSS Overlay and activating Flowing Fluidity at the start of the fight, then use smoke bomb to blind the enemy, afterwards use Getaway of the Samurai to give Fuji some room to attack from long range.
-[X] Once Fuji is farther away switch to Malice Overlay to stack as many debuffs to the enemy as possible, if the enemy seems to be near death use one of your finishing moves.
-[X] If things look like its turning for the worse, switch back to SSS overlay to increase evasion and pile damage until its dead.
-[X] Fuji's Actions:
--[X]Squid Blast!

--Fuji will start in SquidGunner form, and attempt to debuff the enemy with all of his moves from that form, swapping the SharkBuckler once his options there are exhausted.

Just some things that I want to yap about, since my professor's not here yet:
  • Getting that Crit Success on that last roll wasn't strictly necessary. It's likely that Fuji would have worked with you on a 40-50 roll. Rolling as high as you did allowed you to dictate his actions in that combat plan.
  • Rolling lower would have had Rei accidentally reveal her Void influence; she'd have to fight Fuji AND the Shade at the same time, Lupinranger vs Patoranger style.
  • Since you critted that last Social check, Fuji now trusts Rei enough to give you something special… at the end of combat, of course.
  • If he had been the character that had been created from character creation, Fuji's initial build would look like:
  1. Curious and Inquisitive, Young Adult, Regular Human, Engineering (Technical Speciality), 2x Trivia (Mental Specialty), Kamen Rider
  2. Regular Origin, Pirate Theming, Sentient Powers, Mental Specialty, Social Deficiency
Anyways, now that I've said that, I'm gonna be rolling initiative.
Kermie threw 1 20-faced dice. Reason: Rei Initiative (+2 Bonus) Total: 9
9 9
Kermie threw 1 20-faced dice. Reason: Fuji Initiative Total: 3
3 3
Kermie threw 1 20-faced dice. Reason: Shade Initiative Total: 3
3 3
Kermie threw 1 2-faced dice. Reason: Initiative Tie Total: 2
2 2
