Ooooh... that's rough! No more CHAOS though, but still, human politics isn't my forte so good luck to our planners! :V

Cybernetic Collective has my vote though, or simply Democratic Republic, though with the former: is the World Soul of Colchis being part Machine Spirit able to become part of the governance? o_O? The idea... intrigues me greatly.

[] Technocratic Dominion
Pros: Focuses on efficient governance and technological advancement.
Cons: May overlook the needs of the less educated and lead to elitism.

[] Democratic Republic
Pros: Allows equal representation and public participation in decision-making.
Cons: Slower decision-making and potential for political gridlock.
Those two are the ones I personally am most partial to those 2. With Technocratic dominion having a small primacy.
Maybe if possible a Social Technocratic Dominion, kinda like how we have social-democratic parties/governments in modern era. Provides at least basic needs for the less educated

[X] Democratic Republic

Gridlock is likely to cost AP and be annoying, but it will not actually stop Lorgar long given his social charms and general skills anymore than a locked door can stop Angron from punching a hole though it. The weakness is the most manageable with raw persuasion since at its core democracy is governance by the popular and Lorgar is inhumanly, impossibily popular.

......I am so sorry. Yeah, this has been completed. You still need to set up the government but yeah. I'll edit the post in a bit.

No need to apologise. You're doing a great job with the quest - it's very hard to catch all these things without an editor/proof reader, and even with one things will still slip through.

If we give rights to machine spirits, should we give them the right to vote in democratic republic or nah? Cause combining both forms of governance's benefits deals with the others cons

[X] Cybernetic Collective

As we have access to implants that make people mentally super-human in one way and are likely to reverse engineering biological mutations that make them mentally super-human in another, I think the downsides of this can be managed with even more technology to avoid humans being overshadowed.

And I think it's very important to bring the sapient Machine Spirits into government.

Only the human intelligent ones vote.

As for Spirits, they are more wild nature spirits, the opposit of the Machine Spirits. They, as I said earlier, are more like a Storm in the shape of a human/animal that you can interact it, they are the wild spirits where the MAchine Spirits represent Civilization.

Hm, one is most partial to the Technocratic Dominion, Democratic Republic, and Cybernetic Collective.

As an ardent devotee of the old Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri game, the University, led by dear Academician Prokhor Zakharov, was one's foremost favorite faction. The closest to it here would be the Technocratic Dominion.

Unfortunately, one suspects that it may not gain much traction here, so one will settle for the Cybernetic Collective. It would be the closest to the Cybernetic Consciousness faction in the Alpha Centauri game, led by Prime Function Aki Zeta-Five, formerly Annikki Luttinen. The Cybernetic Consciousness was one's favorite faction after, perhaps alongside, the University.

If one is going to give equal rights to sapient machines, then they should have an equal say in governance, the ones who are at least as intelligent as humans. One would very much advocate for the Cybernetic Collective.

I'm an Anarchist so a commune sounds nice, Cybernetic Collective doesn't necessarily mean it gets rid of human autonomy infact it potentially makes it so more humans can pursue there own wants with less need for specific roles that Machine Spirits might not have the same issues with. Like waste control since they're not biological.

@Yzarc, if one may ask, given the current developments, which Aspect is in the lead for the final slot in Lorgar's Human Archetype?
Champion and philosopher are neck to neck, with Champion in the lead by the slightest of margins.

That Chaos eradication roll pushed destruction for the Light aspect to the front.

In all honesty, if you roll an event for Lorgar, positive, like the 93 you rolled or negative like 10 or less, you will probably get one of the human aspects, depending on how it goes.

Light will tske effort tbh.
