We did not have much in the way of plans to do things with the Shamans on turn 8 or 9. Sure they would be convenient to have, but we are still at the very start of our expansion phase, we can afford to take the long term benefit and these one thousand are literally irreplaceable, the better they are in all regards the more useful and harder to kill they will prove.

If Dark Souls can incorporate the Respawn mechanic (human/undead immortality) and rage quitting (going hollow) into the lore then I can do the same with SM Plot armor as well.

They should be allowed their pilgrimage. I feel it is a bit mirroring of Lorgar's pilgrimage to the Eye of Terror but we might be able to use this echo for a good cause instead of the Horror it would become.

So, that seems like something like Regeneration is not possible, which is unfortunate.
Can regular marines be granted Lore compatible mutations without losing their Mythos connection?
Presumably our marines can have supernatural merits more freely than mutations. For example Resilient Pattern's resistance to change, Dharma's Voice inadvertent teaching seem to fit Lorgar's mythos and adaptions, and Spark of Life and Unaging, as they're prerequisites for Awakened Essence for strong psykers.

Yes, Essence mutations. It is in your quote. Regular marines can only Essence Mutations (Though if a mutation can be upgraded, then repurchase counts as one).
Merits are unrestricted, baring reasonable objections on my part or stuff that would unbalance the system.
AH, by Essence mutations I thought you meant a number of mutations equal to their Essence rating even when losing the Mythos connection.

If they loose connection, there would be no reason to not give them a ton.
The restriction is Essence/Mythos number of compadable Lore mutations to keep the Mythos connection. So a regular SM can get Speed x2 (Repurchase counts as 1) from Light Lore but not regen unless Lorgar unlock Lore of Flesh.
I think that we will give Big E a heart attack with how we basicly made an union of Mars and Terra in the galactic west.
A thought on rereading the update. Given that our WorldSoul has been influenced by the Mythos of the Machine God, I wonder if some of our shamans have patron spirits like Gun or Aircraft or Artificial Light or Air Conditioning or Video Cameras, as they're transformative items of technology that make a huge impact on people's lives.
Which, tbh, seems pretty unlikely (Lore of Flesh that is, unless Lorgar unlocks a truly unusual human mythos aspect, like that of the Healer - although I could see that given his healing of the WorldSoul).
However, given that you can make space marines based on non-Primarchs (like the Emperor in the case of Leetu and the later Gray Knights), I wonder if we can make space marines whose geneseed is infused with other demigods, such as Thalassa's mythos.

Thalassa is simply not built for that. She is an artificial demigod like the Primarches but built differently.
This relates to a bunch of mystical stiff you do not know.
But so far, only primarches have Mythos robust enough for SMs.
The Machine God and the Emperor are.....special cases.
The other enhancement we have yet to try is channeling demons into said marines, after we wild shape said Essence 1 Demons into existence. This obviously works in canon, but it may have something to do with the nature of Chaos or their primarchs Falling to Chaos that we cannot replicate.

Well, Space Marines of non-fallen Primarchs can become Possessed or blessed b Chaos, and don't seem to lose their mythos beanies/plot armour.
That might be because they substitute the Primarch's mythos for their new patron's though.

Fan just knows that there would be unusual Mythos conflict. He also knows that no spirit would willingly share a body with a mortal as it changes the true name of willing spirit.
He does not know about daemons enough to say but does know prolonged posession causes corruption.
Note to Self: Use Analytical Modeling Intuition on the Emperor to figure out the secret sauce for making better Demigods.
(I am only half joking here, that charm mechanically works on one success and we can get that with willpower. In term of defenses is worked on Daemon Primarch Lorgar. This might legitimately be worth a try it we want to get answers from the only person we know who would have them)

One of the charms that Exalted spirits (including demons) can get is their version of the Possession charm, which allows a willing spirit and willing mortal (or mortalish being like a Dragon King) to merge together harmoniously to create a hybrid entity for as long as the mortal lives, after which the spirit goes about its business unchanged except for the memories, and the soul of the mortal does the same.
They (the olchiliké) were the inspiration for Celestial Exaltations.

Unfortunately for you, this is 30k. Where the God of hope is Evil.
OK so we can's just stick a demon into a human to get fast Essence users and teachers. I think there might be a way around it especially with Thalassa's specialization and the Lore of Flesh: make blank bodies with no souls for our Essence 1 Demons to inhabit, no conflict since there is no one in there.
As far as Fan knows should this work?
