Okay, we're about halfway done the voting period and no one has made a plan that includes Indoctrination or Ignorance. And so I feel compelled to talk them up a bit. I'm not playing favourites, I love all my babies equally, but c'mon. Not a single vote? I have great ideas for all the origins and how things will go forward and seeing zero interest in those two is disappointing. So a little bit revealed for those two.
For Indoctrination, it's obviously great if you wanna go the evil route! But it's also great fun if you wanna go good and learn how to person properly. Get deprogrammed! Try ice cream! Be socially awkward and adorable! I also have some ideas that would provide some great dramatic irony.
For Ignorance, it's not just a boring blank slate option. You do have a past, you just don't remember it. But that doesn't mean there aren't clues. Great if you want a mystery to investigate and twists in the story.
Anyway, feel free to make votes for those two options. Or don't. The choice is yours. It always has been.
I'm turning down any plan that picks Sloth: I'm very careful about Sloth-oriented personalities for anything involving roleplay. It's harder to justify being proactive in the story when the character I'm playing as just wants to stay at home and do nothing, and I think that issue would still carry into the quest medium. Maybe RexHeller could manage it, but that's my concern.
I agree that I don't like Sloth as a protagonist sin, if only because being proactive and making decisions is kind of the core of Quests and that's difficult to justify when our defining flaw is not being motivated to do things.
I will say I'm not as worried about Sloth not doing anything as a quest protag. Even beyond any drive from the voters wanting to do shit (and with a solid +10 to each stat until make a success there is a lot that we could conceivably do to catch our attention) and pushing her forward through being a nebulous collection of brainworms that want something, the whole point of the plan was to juxtapose a very lazy person with a very energetic job.
However that combination shakes our I think it will be interesting to play, but no matter how it does I don't think it will be a character who can't do anything. Despite perhaps wanting to do nothing but curl up and play phone games all day, if they weren't able to somehow actually get out despite Sloth and do their shows and their dance practices and the backroom politics of the job I don't think they would have made it as an idol to the degree the origin did.
Name roughly translates to "girl of bloodline nine" for no particular reason, on to Ignorance! Both of these make use of the goth girl provided by @StellarMonarch earlier in the thread, because she deserves love.

Decided to tweak Magical Girl Starscream a bit, wasn't really satisfied with the choice of appearance and I didn't add up the stats. Still stuck to the ginger concept though.
