For anyone wondering about the evil potential of L***, I took my inspiration for that sin in particular from Homura Akemi and Kirika Kure, plus other yanderes. So yeah, you can wind up doing some heinous stuff. Admittedly, mixing it with the tragedy background wasn't something I was anticipating and it wound up being a little odd in my plans, but there you go.
 
Magical Girls are the only Light the world has left so clearly the rest of the world can't be trusted to have it lest they ruin it like everything else the world has gotten its hands on.

There is only one path before us. to become She Who Stole Saved The Precious Thing.

What better Role Model for an aspiring Magical Girl than Gensokyo's Most Eligible Bachelor Marisa Kirisame

(Yandere what's that, is it a Charm Point for Magical Girls)

If both categories were aimed at dealing damage, that would be totally fine with me.
But I'm wondering how dark the quest will be. Theoretically, Necromancy could also be a part of it.

first thought about this: How much do we miss our sister?
second thought about this: these poor magical girls

Even if it is an option, we don't have to go that far, but it would definitely be an interesting plot point.

I'm fine with Death but not a fan of the Stubborn personality trait. Or rather I think the Wallflower trait just works too well for us.

We should not be tanking hits or getting close in any way. Especially with Reaper since the spells sound like they're all offence and nothing else. We'd have to go heavy on the Beauty spell for defence which means we'd have less Mana for everything else.

Plus the Sensitive trait fits very well thematically with Death, being able to sense souls and such.
 
Hmmm i wonder if we will eventually get the ability to summon minions (skelly gang?) (The deatbeats? ) Or get a Tactical minded teammate thats uses swarm tactics with summons. The Grimm from RWBY would be a neat pick (or if ya want a more friendly looking mooks we could go the KH route and use the Heartl- *gets shot by Key Cannon and then Ultima* nvm VERY bad idea, apocalypse level bad.)

We should make modified human sideboards that are bug themed maybe like a grasshopper or something I can see no downside for the forces of Darkness doing this

There is a non-zero chance someone in this quest has already created Kamen riders, or we somehow end up creating them. The question is, if something similar to shin Kamen Rider already exists, has one already escaped like the actual MC did.

    If it's still being decided on here are some of my suggestions from earlier in the thread for your perusal




    I though I was fairly well practiced in the art of Google-Fu but the search engine really has become absolute Jank while I wasn't looking

    Honestly I'm really looking forward to seeing what other people have found in terms of potential images for Kaworu and her Magical Girl form.

    The civilian ID plan included her civilian appearances. For her magical girl look, I have something in mind and I'll probably have my friend make it using AI.
     
    SInce The reaper plan won I just realized somethimg....punk, goth, orchestral sure, we can do that. But we are quite literally build for DEATH Metal.

    I will see myself out.
     
    I wonder how many other QMs close the vote, get some sleep and then immediately start second guessing themselves when they wake up. I feel like I should have slapped a difficulty warning on certain options. Not only did you pick the hardest class (death magic is powerful but has high DCs) but also the hardest action (not only do you have to fight off both sides but you need to roll to find the damn things in the first place.)

    Also, I didn't come up with spells before hand, I just put two spell trees that sounded cool on each voice. Now that I'm actually trying to think, I feel like Void is too close to Death that I can't differentiate between the two. I'm wondering if I should swap it out for a different idea.

    void is absence more than death. intangibility would be a void spell, while something along the lines of weakening or health sapping fog would be more up the alley of death. that said, if your struggling immediately with this class, that doesn't bode well for quest longevity. maybe take a day to see which classes you have an easy time building spell trees for and redo the vote with just those.

    establishing difficulties and which stats an action uses is probably prudent before giving it to us to vote on.
