Yes, Settra will not care about any excuses about why Fan Morgal cannot teach him. With all the outrages to his pride, bending this far is already miraculously magnanimous by his standards.

Honestly the potential of contact with age of shadow is well worth the risk. It is a genuine avenue gaining something that can oppose both chaos and the emperor. And access to factions that are not complete assholes.

Imagine stormhosts delving into nergals garden to free isha of breaking a chaos legion.

It is not age of sigmar if i read it right it is WHF so no stoprm host or anything the like only schmuck mortals or saint/demigod brettoniens.

@DragonParadox, I really would consider using VEE on our allies. Give Lorgar and Dharik Paycoportarion so they can bypass Settra's army to reach him to fight in melee, and Thalassa something like Precognition to make her better at making her shots.

There's one concern that I have, which is that Settra may not count as Evil.

I do not think talking is a free action, they have to ask, we have to give it to them, that's two actions wasted and Fan does not have anything to allow him to take multiple actions per turn.
 
for some reason I just gained the urge to enter age of sigmar by punching all 4 of us into whatever space-time bullshit to get us there or even back to the past mallus so we get to play in fantasy; then learn all 8 winds, maybe high magic, a bit of whatever else like dwarf runes or whatever and return back with only a week passing in 40k space-time.

anyone else with the same idea? maybe we can kill fantasy Kairos fate-weaver, cause we only got to punch the dead puppet in 40k, steal the sword of khaine, get some one ones/lizard trinkets, learn yin-yang harmony magic in cathay, annoy settra and some other tomb kings, etc.

Might as well kill him and drag his soul kicking and screaming into the 40k verse if it's gonna be that much of a drag to teach him. We'll get our Emperor counter under our control, and I'm looking forward to the buffs we can spam on him, or even awakening him.

It is also why Settra will not allow the condescension of being taught by Lorgar. He will settle for nothing less than being actively taught by Fan Morgal, the best of his group.

I suppose the thing to do would be to try to appeal to his pride; suggesting that he's such a genius that he should be able to pick up the words without him needing special help.

After all, we can mention that Lorgar did so.
 
Hm, it could also offend his pride even further. From Settra's perspective, he has probably already been far more magnanimous than is warranted. Settra does not dicker or haggle.

We wouldn't haggle; just express incredulity that he could possibly need intensive teaching from us.

Alternatively, Lorgar is a very competent telepath. Can he just implant the knowledge in Settra. Bypass the teaching entirely:

Sure but sigmar will presumably send scouts to find where his rival appeared from.

And we know death magic is one of the things that hard counters chaos, it can't corrupt vanpires without extraordinary circumstances and it can match chaos number and sorcery.

I think the potential access to age of signar is well worth the risk.

Remember the slann are better diviner than tzeentch, like its called out in their scroll.

You can certainly try and with a Stunt, it can work. But you need to be REALLY careful.

Setra landed in the warp
Setra showed up from the warp, tried to shank him
While the notion that he has been to some non-warp place might be inhered from how he fought there is really no urgency to doing so.
