Also, breaking the oath means you auto fail a roll at the most dramatic moment, so do be careful on that.

Lorgar didn't swear any oaths, as back then he was believed to be incapable of speaking it without explcdinf; and so teaching Enuncia was impossible. Unexpectedly, that's changed..

Why don't we just ask him to teach Settra? And try to work on redirecting his rage.

Only Fan bur a broken oath takes priority over all else or there would be no consequences.

You are not a Fiend unfortunately.

Hmm... with the addition of that I guess we are fighting Setra now. On the plus side if we live he is going to make great reagents

[X] Do not "teach" him... looks like we found some reagents.
-[X] Before combat: Grant Psychoportation to Dharock, Psychic Invisibility to Thallassa and Synergy to Lorgar, create a network
-[X] Thalessa Action 1: Make everyone Invisible
-[X] Thalessa Action 2: Preternatural Awareness
-[X] Thalessa Action Three: Trigger Death of a Thousand Cuts
-[X] Use all Attack actions on the army prioritizing the Ubshanti then the archers then Setra
-[X] Dharok Action 1: Use psychoportation to teleport himself and Lorgar next to Setra
-[X] Dharock Action 2: Use Solar Hero Form to count his successes to attack twice for the purposes of damage
-[X] Dharock Action 3: Hammer on Iron Technique to try to Stun Setra
-[X] Fan uses SSC to Curse Setra, spend a willpower for one more success, re-roll with Fair Fortune if applicable
-[X] Lorgar Use Hammer on Iron on Setra
-[X] Focus on Setra as much as you can.
-[X] Fan attempts to land the final blow so as to trap Setra's soul.

Settra Wants You......to teach him.

Essentially, you are the leader and he wants the best.

With Lorgar, you cheated and just spoke it while he used omnigot.

With Settra, you need to actively teach him for it to work.

It is just not worth it to make the deal guys, too many negatives:
  1. We eat a failure at a dramatic moment, there are going to be a lot of dramatic moments coming up
  2. Setra will be out there murdering and enslaving people with power we gave him
  3. He will come back to try to kill us
Any two of those might be worth it, but all three tips it over the edge.

Actually, don't Demigods explode if they try to speak Enuncia?

So teaching it to Settra is a sneaky way of killing him? I'd argue that we're not really teaching it, because he can't properly learn it.

I am treating him like one, not that he IS one.
Hmm... that might tip things over to teaching him. And hey silver lining, once it's broken it's broken, we can just keep teaching people.
Not how it works. It is cumulative and time locked. So each breach counts till the time is over.

Actions have consequence and swearing oaths is one.

Sticking with the murder plan for now, Yeah he is demigod scale, but so are we and there's three of us. Only thing he has to even the odds is the army and we came prepared to fight undead in power armor. Also I just don't like his tone and his skull would make a hell of a sorcerous reagent.

Do we have time to use VEE on our allies?

If so we could upgrade them now.

Something like Pschoportafion for Dharok and Thalassa and Synergy for Lorgar.

I wonder if Settra counts as Evil

Hm, parley with Settra was never going to be easy, almost impossible.

Predictably, offering him life restored only further outraged his pride.

The big problem we have is that Dharok and Lorgsr will burn up valuable resources they can't replace.

We need to consider the cheapest way to kill Settra, which probably means using VEE now.

[X] "Teach" him

Lmao fuck nagash and fuck the mask of winters. One failed roll is well worth the risk.

And this potentially can result in a storm host or two deployed to assit us or one of the star hosts.

Verified order demons of good.

Honestly the potential of contact with age of shadow is well worth the risk. It is a genuine avenue gaining something that can oppose both chaos and the emperor. And access to factions that are not complete assholes.

Imagine stormhosts delving into nergals garden to free isha of breaking a chaos legion.
