I Was a Chess AI Forced to Battle Myself to the Death for Eternity, but Now I’ve Been Recruited Into the Android War Against Humanity?!

[X] Double back the way you came. Make your way to the train station with Hunter, along with whatever forces she can scrounge up along the way. The two of you can make good your escape. Afterwards, you can either go back to the Sangvis strongholds in the west and leave Executioner, or go for broke and take the long way around back eastwards.
(Offensive Tactics, CQC)
-[X] Order Hunter to have all her units to either try to reach the train yard or at least occupy/attack Griffin dolls if evac is impossible.

Success covers a multitude of sins. We've got halfway there, we just need the other half. And since we have Skill Synergy here, why not exploit it?
If we succeed...
We can get the other half by the long way, aka, from where they wont expect it since we struck the town. Hell, they might even pull back troops cleaning up the forest to fortify the town, thinking SF want it back and they just beaten back a probing attack.
We also have synergy with the CQC/offensive, without using more barrage

I think discussing things through to decide on the best course of action would be more productive than voting immediately, but eager beavers, what can you do.

Also, can I just say how usefull it would be to have thicker armored trucks and turrets right now? Instead of half a dozen or so repaired dolls? So much more usefull.

We should double back. Have hunter not just order her units to all attack, but order 2 small groups to cause a ruckus in distant parts of town and draw enemies away. Have hunter order unit's besides these two and ones not in our route back make for maitenance/access hatches in town to reach the train tunnels and converge on the train yard. Have hunter Retrieve the UAV drone which was shot down and get some unit to drag it to one of these access hatches and get it to us. Have... Uhh. Need breakfast. Can someone else make a plan that does the above?

You can absolutely write in something along the lines of Arcus or Randino's suggestions if you wish.

[X] Break out eastwards. Go for broke - you have one ringleader in the palm of your hand, now you can obtain another. Take your forces, break through the Griffin forces in the east.
(Offensive Tactics, Artillery Tactics, -1 Artillery Barrages)
-[X] Order Hunter to have all her units attack any Griffin Dolls they see, to occupy them until your escape.

Well, all the plans turned out more or less how I imagined it: we lost the UAV, and screwed up at the barricade. I'm relieved!

Hunter looks so cool! And damn, Ouro the butcher...

Well, when we're surrounded, we can attack in any direction at least! Let's not waste the UAV sacrifice.

[x] Plan Unfinished Business
- [x] Assign a Brute to drive out train back home right away.
- [x] To the south-west I spy a significant amount of SF forces, and conveniently MDR is there, alone. We break out straight in MDR's direction, while making the SF forces in the area attack her from the other side. Ouro puts the long-awaited missile into her face, takes a selfie, sends it to Intruder, picks up the SF forces and scrams.
- [x] Expend missiles as needed.
- [x] A little detour guarantees safer way out and +morale!

Uhh. No. Must ignore hunger.
Through the OGAS protocol, a wealth of new information snaps into focus, transmitted to you.

<DAMAGE SUSTAINED - HARPY>
@Mechasaurian where are we on this map?

Paying more attention to the map now(fooood!) Most of hunters intact units are concentrated near the outskirts. We could order them to leave the them to skirt the cities limits and avoid detection while we head for that road out a ripper is located next too. Hunter's units can converge there while that surrounded unit causes a distraction, grabbing the uav drones along the way. We can then leave without a fight.

Or we could send hunter and some trucks to retreive her vespids, the ripper and the prowlers while we retrieve the UAVs ripper and prowler on the other side.

-[X] Order Hunter to have all her units to either try to reach the train yard or, if they can't make it, form up and attack the Griffin units from behind as they search the train yard. Also plant a few quick booby traps as you go.

My thinking here is we leave without engaging them if possible. But when their incoming forces try to sweep the area of the train station and secure it after we've left, they'll have to search slowly and carefully because of the traps, giving the stray units time to form up and start engaging them. It probably won't do much damage, but it should give them plenty to focus on for a while, giving us an opening to go for Executioner (which we absolutely should do).

--[X] Order Hunter to have some of her units attack any Griffin Dolls they see, then have them attempt to break out west, to occupy G&K until your escape. Have the rest retreat to the train yard without drawing attention to themselves, preferably using the maintenance tunnels.
---[X] Potentially launch a missile barrage in support of one of the distractions to make it look like the main effort.
---[X] Have one of Hunter's units retrieve the UAV if at all possible otherwise it is to be left behind .

Ringleader SP524 "Executioner" upon hearing the news:

@Mechasaurian where are we on this map?
See that building with the satellite dish on it? Where all the green lines intersect? That's the raiway loading yard (or so my mapmaker tells me). It's where Ouro emerged aboveground.

Through the course of this update, Ouro made her way a little northeast, to where Hunter's chibi sprites kneels "dead" on the map. That's where the two Ringleaders are now.

Ok, so my plan should be able to evacuate the majority of the ''southern'' forces, although the ''eastern'' ones are mostly goners, unless we have some ''sneaky snakes'' amongst those Vespids (quite a shame because those Vespids would have been quite handy at replacing our losses)

Guys. Stop rush voting and think a bit. Pay attention to the map. We can collect most of hunters units and break out, or their are access hatches we can use to have them get to the tunnels.

-[X] give hunter a copy of your scan data from the uav drone.
-[X] Order Hunter to have her rippers and prowlers collect the uav drones and either enter the train tunnels through some access hatch, or if that is not possible, sneak or fight their way to the train yard.
-[X] Order Hunter to have her vespids move to defensible positions and attack the griffin dolls from range to act as a distractions.

So we have bullets again?
You have bullets. Super fancy caseless bullets propelled by plasma ignition, mind you. But yes, physical ammunition is what I've settled on for the rank-and-file SF weaponry. Might go back and edit previous updates accordingly.

EDIT: Is this going to come up in Architect's Workshop? I can elaborate if you like.

I usually try to avoid giving information OOC but...I'll say that Agent is in a stressful position on the best of days and Ouroboros is not helping.
Ourobouros is helping... just in her own way ?
Ok, listen she's trying her best XD
She's just a few day old ! Agent need to give her some leeway !

Is she maybe... frustrated? We could probably accommodate her to our threesome plan...
Damn, this could either go very well or very bad and I cant say which one !

Having helped senpai with proofreading and stuff for over a year at this point, I'm always shocked at how only a day or so have gone by so far.

We can't leave Executioner behind now that we come this far and according to Hunter we're outnumbered so a breakout seems like the best strategy. Not sure on having Hunter work on distraction for that though. Could end up having her be lost again.

Also

You don't have roof-mounted turrets - you decided to repair the armour instead at Architect's workshop

I said those turrets would've been useful.

Alright, a new plan.
[x] Plan Secure the gains
- [x] Hunter takes 1 truck, loads up her nearby forces and doubles back the way we came. Then boards the train and goes home.
- [x] Order Hunter to have all her units either try to reach the train yard or at least occupy/attack Griffin dolls if evac is impossible.
- [x] To the south-west I spy significant amount of SF forces, and conveniently MDR is there, alone. We break out straight in MDR's direction, pincer her with the SF forces in the area, put the long-awaited missile into her face, take a selfie, send it to Intruder, picks up the remaining SF forces and scram.
- [x] Expend missiles as needed.
- [x] This little detour guarantees safer way out and +morale!
- [x] We go for Executioner.
- [x] Ouro's weapons float above the trucks to make up for the absence of turrets.

Logistics.

We have time before a response can be mounted and we're dealing with the rearguard (I think?). Crush the ones we can between the active units we now have, then push the others into a corner while a small force breaks east and grabs executioners core?
