Benefaction: A Combine Ck2 Quest in Star Wars Legends

It feels a bit strange that some criminal rabble has nearly the same attack stats as augmented, trained, professional soldiers, unless we're going for blasters being THAT powerful which I understand.
The Enforcers are effectively CP's with slightly better weapons, worse training, and much less of a reason to stay loyal. The high AC is due to them being slippery bastards that want to get paid over taking a bullet.

Oh shut universal hi! I'm the weird guy that kept suggesting all the Russian weaponry

Ahhh so they're a bit harder to hit but not all that good in general?

thanks for the clarification.

Funnily enough, I found your quest trying to get inspiration for mine. I literally just googled "Half-Life 2 Combine Quest." When I saw your quest, and it turns out it was recently started, I was like, wut? Anyway, I'm glad the idea is evolving and people are discussing it.

About my quest: Tab with SB has been open on my PC for 5 months. I don't know when I will continue it, but I will definitely continue it. I've been thinking about its development all the time, so I have a lot of ideas. (GM, sorry for talking about someone else's quest on yours.)

Of course. Your message is literally the last one and it's picture with a chad saying:"yes".

My biggest issue with this update is simply the English swear words in the GFFA. Was jarring to suddenly see them screaming 'shit'.

Star Wars has it's own collection of native expletives.

[X] Innoculate
The Combine will doubtless have dominion over this world in the near future, and the simple act of distributing medkits to the wounded in this moment may help to prevent civil unrest in the long term.

What's going to be our next target for Assault, ladies and gentlemen?

Kos-Amul, Primary Settlement and Starport. Go big, take their spaceport, the means of mass transit, get us FTL drive technology, disable their air support, display our power by taking their second most secure position next to the palace.

We don't need to have total control of the city itself, just the starport and the largest means of transportation of large groups, the easiest and most secure landing site for further reinforcements to deny that to the enemy.

Once we have that we can begin our efforts to establish ourself as the ruling group of Nar Kaaga, demanding surrender and having a large chance of getting it from all parties if the fight goes well enough in our favor, as it should unless these war droids are a bigger deal than I imagine.

Hoping the Inoculate votes really are because they just aren't worth it currently and not another case of SV wanting to turn a villain quest around.

I want to be villainous but in an authoritarian dictator way and not a 'turn your species into lobotomized servitors' way.

To be fair, the Combine isn't just 'turn your species into lobotomized servitors' if Earth is anything to go by.

It's canonical, and it's the likely route that we're going here. I'm personally still up for converting people behind the scenes like it was being done on Earth.

We might need lobotomized stalkers, we might need not lobotomized civil protection, or nerve stapled overwatch elite. Once we have the facility running it will be more efficient for them to go in of their own volition instead of spending other resources to herd them.

They get stalkered if they are resistant and non-compliant.

We're using Alyx units here so Combine Workers are likely a thing.

It's up to the populace and their skills what brand of conversion they become, so long as they are administration or tactics dice in the end it's all gravy.

This fear is so understandable and I had a touch of it myself.

Hopefully it's just that when up against the Hutts we look a little brighter with our hyper focus on squeezing every last drop of potential resources out of other people's planets.

Speaking of, I wonder if at some point we'll be making the planet into a space station via just the sheer scale of our strip mining and building plans, shearing away anything unhelpful to our goals for use in other forms and bringing in more resources from outside.

After that, we can mop up the fringe settlements or wipe them off the map if they're particularly tough nuts to crack. Once we get those head crab canisters up, we'll have a good few areas to wipe out.
