Springtime of Nations: Heavenly Dawn

It just occured to me none of the plans actually were voted on and the plan submission deadline was Friday. At least in the way of none at this moment having an X in the []. Well unless just going through and putting down the plan suggested anyways.

Primaries over. Election begins. Vote from the following. Voting ends Monday at 8:00 PM.

[] Rikken-ose-to - Plan Crown, Constitution, Commonwealth
[] Kokuminshu-to - Plan Get Government out of the Way
[] Nomin-to - Plan Land to the Tiller and Work for All

I am disappointed that we aren't even throwing the Javanese a bone, but at least this way we get some basic defences.

Every little bit helps, every vote counts. Let's not take this new 'democracy' thing for granted!

Big tent dominant party of the elites? Typical Japanese politics really :V

Let's do something else.

Might as well cast a vote in the name of contrarianism democratic opposition.

We NEED to support the Javanese against the hated Dutch

Actually, why don't we try to set up an alliance with some of the Kongsi Republics? They share our democratic and egalitarian values and our trading and anti-colonial interests. Even though we can't fight the Dutch by ourselves, we can limit their further expansion. Ensuring that Borneo remains free and is allied and trading with us is a good way to do that.

Borneo is also strategically important: they have resources that Japan doesn't and are in the middle of strategic shipping routes.
