With both our godly interventions being saving someone from fatal wounds, and our second witness being a literal doc, we could potentially claim domain over life, or medicine.
Then we just need to get domain relating to rescue workers/firefighters and we'd have an emergency hotline trinity
Actually I really like that idea. Becoming not so much the god of Justice as the God of Emergency Responders

I should've asked this question much earlier, but I kept forgetting: Now that the thread is getting into character combat in the Cyberpunk 20XX setting, will we be following any rulebooks? Red, 2020/CyberGeneration (for whatever reason anyone would want that), etc.? Or is this purely a narrative quest?

Purely narrative though I admit I do a bit of secret rolling on my side to decide on random stuff, sadly I don't know much about the TTRPG :c

Tanner snatched up the Baton and flicked his wrist and with a series of rapid clicks, the baton extended and began to spark, electricity dancing along the metal length. If he could overload the cyberpsycho's sys, he could potentially win this! The soda from earlier would have dried up by now, so it seems that he'll have to make do! He checked the cans that were left lying around aaaaand they were empty-wait! This one had a little bit left in it. He's going to have to make this count.

The pillar exploded into a bunch of dust and chunks as the cyberpsycho was closing in, wearing away the concrete with relentless gunfire and damnit, he was not about to make it easy for him! He watched the cyberpsycho's shadow grow smaller as he drew nearer and once he was close enough.

"Taste the Love!" Tanner quickly backhands the cyberpsycho across the face, dumping at least a glassful of NiCola all over him, making sure to dump most of it over the malfunctioning cyberware and the crazed cyborg cried out in surprise as carbonated liquid got into his eyes and his mantis arm, which once again set off the sparks and had thousands of volts coursing throughout his body.

Taking his chance, the detective swung the baton hard into the cyberpsycho's face, adding several more thousand volts into him. The borg's mostly chromed out form seized and his wildly jerking parts made his fingers twitch and pull the trigger firing wild shots that buried themselves into the scenery. With a spin, Tanner kicked the gun out of his hands, sending it clattering to the floor and dove after it, a good move considering that the psycho was gradually regaining control of his limbs and nearly tore off Tanner's head!

"MAD!! GHN… FLIES!! BURN THE FLIES!" He screamed, pulling his bare fist from the hole he just created, dust and rubble crumbling around it to try and make a grab for the detective but by now, he had made some distance between them with the psycho's gun now in his hands.

Tanner didn't look back and ran like hell hounds were nipping at his heels, his muscles and chets burned as he exerted more effort than he ever had in his life! He took a chance to take once glance behind him, the cyberpsycho was rapidly closing the distance, his form appearing and disappearing in quick flashes before leaping into the air, a fist raised to bring down on his head. The detective's instincts screamed at him to get out of the way but there was no time, he couldn't slow down his momentum enough to change directions so he did what he thought he could only do.

He jumped.

And everything slowed down as adrenaline spiked, Tanner felt himself turning around, raising the weapon up and with no time to aim, he just pulled the trigger and bullets began to fly, some flew past the cyberpsycho's form, some grazed the metal chrome, others struck true and tore straight through him. Tanner felt himself hit the ground and momentum had him sliding across the concrete as the cyberpsycho drew near, almost landing on top of him and just when Tanner thought he was done for, a black blur slammed into the cyberpsycho's side and sent him careening into one of the stalls, the structure collapsing in on itself as it's products were sent scattering about.

Time sped up again and Tanner was left panting with a smoking gun in his hands, staring up at men and women clad in a bulletproof vests with glowing arms and enough weapons to wipe out every gang in Night City in one night. The ever so familiar spiderlike helmet told him all he needed to know who his saviors were. "About time Maxtac got here."

"Jaggers, McCartney. Surround the target." With a a simple gesture, two of the MaxTac Officers wasted no time in following orders, weapons raised and trained on the cyberpsycho while Tanner got himself back up to his feet and dusted himself off. "Officer Montoya, you alright?"

Say what you will about MaxTac, they may be the 'favored child' of the entire NCPD, they were still cops and they didn't like it when one of their own is getting a beating. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just.. exacerbated some wounds." Tanner rubbed at his throbbing chest. "Doc is gonna tan my hide…"

"Heh, tell me about it." The Maxtac officer grins, and behind him the Stall explodes as the Cyberpsycho had recovered enough to take his revenge on whoever dared to get between him and his kill.

"MORE BUGS! MORE FLIES! I'LL CRUSH! CLEANSE! BURN YOU ALL!" He roared only to be met with devastating amounts of iron as MaxTac gunned him down, ripping off one of his arms and legs. A woman strutted forwards, aimed her shotgun at his face and with a pull of the trigger, created a new artpiece in Cherry Blossom Market that will serve as a reminder to everyone what happens when you go over the edge.

"Nice work." Tanner said, staring at the now dead body of the man that almost flatlined him. "You make it look easy."

"With toys like ours, it is easy." The man reached over to pat Tanner on the shoulder. "Get yourself taken care of. We'll handle things from here."
"Yeah… I will, thanks." Tanner wanted nothing more than to go home after this, but knowing bureaucracy, he's going to have to do even more paperwork after this. Great. "What about Wetmore?"

"Who?"

Tanner gestured to the unmoving body of Wetmore that was lying not too far away and the Maxtac officer gestured for one of his subordinates to check the body. Tanner didn't get his hopes up, he watched the other officer make his way over, stare at Wetmore's body for a moment, probably doing a scan, then bent down to check his pulse. He stood up and shook his head.

Damnit.

[Cyberpsycho Eliminated. Tanner Montoya survives the encounter!]

What should Tanner do next?

A/N: I don't know why but I struggled to write this. Am I making combat progress far too quickly? Too slowly? Am I giving enough choices for everyone to vote for? Anyway, tell me what you think of this update! Vote's open!

[X] Check in on the ripperdoc

We did tell her we'd giver her some answers, though we might have to wait until later to recruit her considering we're pretty low on Mana right now.

As for the quest itself, so far combat's been good, neither too slow or fast.

Combat was well paced in my opinion. Flowed nicely and ended just right.

Gotta try and get those followers. Gotta get them to invest their theistic assets into our ever-growing entity.
Advertising ourselves would be a funny thing. Competing with Corps who want a piece of that godly pie, and who probably take a hacksaw to the table...
