An interesting little group and first two BIG things that can shake up the whole of the setting for different reasons...So we can agree Mr.X stays away from the Aliens this time, we don't need rash action with this.
 
Sending Woody to Roswell might be useful. I imagine there being an infinitesimal chance that the aliens are familiar with his comics, thus his trait would have a higher DC for enemies to negate it.

Not sending Mr. X to Roswell could be more dangerous than sending him.

Ok, I'm sorry to say. But Galfed, is by far and away the preferable one to fail at.

So any plan, should be one where they focus more heavily on The Acme mission.

Thoughts?

Maximizing Quality on the ACME Mission with Betty's insane Intrigue score and also giving her access to the book, and Quantity for the Alien Mission so they can further split the party as necessary, due to a lot of moving pieces potentially involved with the aliens landing in Roswell.

Edit: Plus we could potentially run into Eddie & Roger in LA which could be 3rd and 4th members of the team.

Feck it, yeah I agree with this. Betty and Doof have enough well rounded stats between them that I feel comfortable with them tackling this on their own.

On a side note, sheesh poor Doofs learning score. Don't get me wrong it's still rather fine, 28 isn't anything to sneeze at. Just really sells how absurd and dedicated to the science Evil Doof ended up. Also genuinely hilarious that Evil Doof was a much better fighter than an actual special agent version. I blame it on Evil Doofs theater career.

Keep in mind we only saw later on Doof in the first place. This Doof isn't fully grown yet.

Okay, so this has us with our most charismatic individuals dealing with the aliens. I put Mr. X on Show Stopper because his whole "capture first" issue may crop up. Which is why I'm having him be entrusted with the Book of Doofenschmirtz as a show of good faith.

Edit: I would also say that the book should go with the group that doesn't have Doof in it.

I think the others could keep him in line as long as he's not Leader, and we need serious fact finding power on Show Stopper.
