It is only as you find yourself standing before the door to your bedroom that you notice that the room around you didn't wobble nearly as much as during those first few hours when you had your quirk. Every time that you move, the world is a little more stable, and you are so glad.
This is where we currently are at with "being able to walk with gravity powers." Since other people are bringing it up and I spotted an exact quote on the situation.

I like the symbolism in this name.

[X][Counseling] Gravity

Thinking it over I think this is the more pertinent option since figuring out why we are affecting gravity should help point out that we have a fucking nuclear reaction going on inside our chest at any given moment. I believe it would be better to know that sooner rather than later.

Izuku can already walk without issue, and this is the hero that uses sunlight as a powersource for her quirk. It feels an appropriate place to begin with.
Gravity shifts as he moves, i seriously doubt that would not cause problems for walking.
Sure it might not be an issue for everyday moving about, but once he tries to excercise, jog, run, do jumps, etc, i would expect that to affect how effective he can be.

Lunar said that this vote is just to organize the next update.
We are going to talk about both, and touch on fire and magnets as well just not as much because they didn't win the hospital vote.

What is Moondrop's quirk?
Moondrop's Quirk gave him the ability to create a glimmering white energy from his hands that would expand outwards into circles, but would drag behind his moments, creating what looked like drops of moonlight.

How many people work at the Moondrop agency and in what capacity?
There are an estimated 30 sidekicks working under Sundrop, but frustratingly, information about the other individuals within the Agency are very difficult to find, so you do not know the number of Staff and other people working in the Agency.

What was Sundrop's most difficult counseling session?
As far as you are able to estimate, you have a distinct feeling that Sundrop's most difficult counseling session would be the one involving an extreme late bloomer who gained access to their quirk due to chemical intervention. They are much older than most people manifesting quirks, and while the information about late bloomers is rare, it is notable that the older the quirk manifests the more powerful it tends to be. This particular late bloomer is in the middle of a huge media storm around the particular means by which they bloomed, and have a quirk that is clearly capable of high levels of destruction.

What was Sundrop's debut fight?
Technically, Sundrop's debut didn't involve a fight, and instead helped to rescue people from a fire, but that didn't get a lot of news coverage. Her first major fight, and the one where she ended up getting noticed by the general public was against a villain who had the ability to alter the properties of one material that he touched the match the properties of another material he touched. He was using his ability to essentially melt parts of walls sso that he could break into places and rob them.

Izuku to Miss Matsuri: if your friend maybe did some things that were maybe not really things a friend should do, and this friend has a, well, temper, how would you go about trying to talk to that person?

Trying to avoid some pitfalls in the upcoming conversation. Izuku and Bakugou are shining beacons of poor communication skills.

Izuku to Miss Matsuri: I was asked to lie about the fact that I was Quirkless by HPSC rep who brought me here, to avoid people trying to use trigger to get a quirk. I sort of get why, but, even if I lie, won't there be people desperate enough to try anyway? Wouldn't that just disprove my lie, and make people reluctant to believe the HPSC when they tell them they shouldn't do it because it's dangerous later?
*marking them down for the update*

"Will my arms ever stop itching?"

I think I'd go crazy if I got superpowers that made me itch all the time
For the most part the itching sensation dies down when Izuku stops moving, and the effect grows stronger when he moves his limbs out, particular in circular motions.
all good, though I can't really see Izuku with Iida.

Now, admittedly I'd prefer a girl, but if this Izuku ended up with a boy, rather than Iida I'd much rather prefer Shoto or Tokoyami I think.

...I'm pretty sure Shoto is a common yaoi pairing, actually.

Ah, if only this quest was on QQ...

I like the idea of this Izuku and Tohru, and all the hilarity and embarassment of him being able to see the NAKED invisible girl

Keyword: Almost.

We still have Mineta after all

Stain even had SOME good points.

I mean, you can't look at Endeavour in the beginning and think he's a good role model.

But his insistence of heroes who are not completely selfless and that worry about money being wrong is just... shortsighted

Heroes are people too. they NEED money to live, and they have their own wishes and goals, and there's nothing wrong with that, as long as they ARE still helping people.

I mean, isn't All Might actually pretty rich?

the obvious one to start with: Izuku should ask Mirai about what he should say about the Ideo Trigger and quirkless vs invisible quirk in the interview, making it clear what the Hero Commission asked of him, and how it feels wrong to deny other quirkless (or "quirkless") people a chance to develop a quirk.

My current idea would be to basically go "we don't know, it worked on me, but I also nearly died, hopefully the government can start some study and clinical trials to see if it can be done safely".

Also I think we should talk to her about what our school life was like, how our classmates AND TEACHERS behaved, the "bullied or not bullied" cognitive dissonance, and especially Bakugo.

You'll understand if I don't trust the words of Monokuma :V

Tfw u go the thread prepared to apologize for getting heated and immediately see someone who wants this to become something where a vulnerable and mistreated child dates an adult bc muh harem

I told myself I'd jokingly vote for rainbow eyes as a reference to how LGBTQ Lunaryon's Sailor Moon quest is. I'm now going to vote to hold hands with the age group peer bros for the rest of all time.

Is this a joke? Maybe.

But anyway.

[X][Book] Quirk Counseling Book #1
[X][Counseling] Light

It's an accurate title for the notebook and this way Izuku can have two notebook series. As opposed to one that's split between himself and others. Better categorization! I would like to start a third notebook when we get to hero school.

I'd like to ask Matsuri if she's ever gotten other late bloomers, and what problems they tend to have. Not that Izuku is a standard late bloomer.

This is probably to protect her quirkless employees from harassment or villains seeking revenge on Mirai.

YOu know, maybe she can introduce us to this mysterious late bloomer, I feel like we have a lot in common

It doesn't matter much, but I think it would look cleaner and possibly faster to check later on if you only quoted the relevant parts instead of the whole post.

Also, for other questions

1)tips for getting into UA.
2)Ways to legally (or at least tacitly accepted) train our quirk outside of her counseling sessions. Like, are there quirk-free places? hero-owned quirk-gyms?
3)her employee asked us to join her quirkless support group. How can we do that without making more problems for them due to the media?
4)her employee seemed unhappy when we mentioned the hero association having brought us here. Why? Aren't they the good guys?
5)...does she know of a better school than Aldera High we could move to instead for this last year, while we work to get into UA? We weren't exactly happy there...
6)How does one become a quirk counselor?
7)How do heroes make sure that villains don't take revenge on their family? Izuku wants to become a hero, sure, but he also doesn't want them to target his mom!

Given how it took over 20 years for someone to attack supercop Endeavors house/family. Nobody knew Toshinori is All Mights real name, an All Might having no Clue about Nana and her family before A4O brought it up to brag.it seems like in My Heroes world if you want to you can keep your Heo life 95% separate from your civilian life and live peacefully.

true, but Izuku doesn't know, he needs to hear about the options

But UA broadcasts every student's name and quirk and face every year....except management course students

It would be... advantageous to the HPSC if you were to tell your interviewer that you had an invisible quirk. Rather than letting the information out that it may be possible for quirkless individuals to gain Quirks of their own.
That will make functionally no difference. Anyone being ostracized for not having a quirk will still be intent on getting a trigger on the faint chance that they too have an invisible or dormant quirk.

you haven't even introduced yourself yet, and already this woman knows who you are. That... That's kind of wild if you are going to be honest.
With empty voids for eyes Izuku is never going to have trouble being recognised.
Best get used to that early.

"After what happened to you... Well, the fact that you are here, that all on it's own is enough to give the rest of us hope, Izuku." The girl says softly. "You're showing us that there is a chance that things might be able to get better in the future."
Oh dear. They would absolutely want Izuku to be something he isn't. Something that would be very unhealthy for him just now.

eh, it COULD help him. It's risky, but it could end up being a positive experience.

Izuku wants to be a hero. By definition, Heroes spend a good part of their time faking being something they're not.

Like All Might faking being invincible, you know. It's all done to keep morale up, but for all that it helps it's in large part an illusion, a mask.

And, at least in the moment, it's necessary, because it's important for the helped to have confidence in their rescuers, at least during a crisis.

I think this is really one of the glaring holes in the world-building of MHA, Horikoshi eschews the whole secret identity concept in most cases but doesn't really touch on the consequences of that direction.
It's interesting to note though that the course full of students most likely to go into politics and government, such as the HPSC, is the course that doesn't directly take part in the Sports Festival's broadcasted events. Instead they manage concession stands, and game booths, and such.

One of the reasons no one attacked Endeavor might be related to the reason no one attacks Cops IRL. Less that "no one does", but the rate is low enough, as to be rare. Especially when the top heroes have A LOT of backing, going after them directly is a big ass move.

As for no one knowing Toshinori... Well, that's probably half media marketing, nothing ever refers to him by anything except All Might so no one really thinks of him as Toshinori, and half there being other Toshinoris. He's almost certainly not the only person with that name. Not ever Reeves is Keanu, nor is ever Keanu a Reeves, and there very well might be other Keanu Reeves out there. So when faced with the name Toshinori, even people who know that's his actual name, unless it's on the topic of All Might, might not know who it's talking about.

That could be more due to a generational thing. Remember, thanks to All Might society inside Japan was pretty safe and the most crime free thanks to him. Could be that most heroes in some places don't much with secret identities and if one student does they could just ask to keep their secret during such events.

Also doesn't help that a lot of quirks are extremely visually unique like Shoto's or Dark Shadow. Not to mention those with extreme physical mutations. Which could be further reason that the newest generations may not bother as much, especially with everyone getting quirks nowadays in story.

I'm…pretty sure there are no such thing as Heroes allowed to keep secret identities in Japan. They're all officially recorded in government and school databases. While true that there are underground heroes that don't build agencies, even ones like Eraserhead have a public identity.

We see how Heroes who don't have their identities public are treated in the prequel manga. They're Vigilantes and one step away from being arrested on a good day. Certifably illegal.
