Kal'tsit would know a lot about Sarkaz and the variations. She work closely with them to say the least.

For a very very brief moment I forgot that Ishmael is an actual name used in various media and ended up imaging PGR's Ishmael using an anchor to beat people up and consequently discovered something new about myself, so thanks for that.

Speaking of Ulpianus though, do we know anything about what he's doing at the moment? He kinda just shows up in Stultifera Navis and I don't really remember any mention of what he was doing or how he knew Gladiia, Skadi and Laurentina were around other than vaguely possibly sea magic Abyssal Hunter super senses.

Maybe wherever the Last Knight is? IIRC, he was hanging out with the guy and the sea-horse at the end of Stultifera Navis in a way that implied they knew each other beforehand. Or something.

There's also the possibility that he's doing something with the Deep Church, but I don't think that's likely, since he was only working together with them in order to stop Gladiia from trying to go back to Ægir via the Ship of Fools?

Though it's just a guess, honestly.

Lol. Iirc, after seeing Skadi and Ishar-mla fusing, ending up in some ruin with a bunch of seaborn and uncovering some mystery about them. He started to break into some Church of the Deep to uncover more secrets. And whatever he uncover lead to him trying to stop the three from returning to Aegir.

So probably trying to figured a way to revert Skadi fusing with Ishar-mla, me think.
 
I mean

it's better than the previous plan by a good margin, and it would be a real shame to lose one of our colleagues.
