East Africa 1930: An ORBAT Quest

This is likely the best shot we'll get at expanding our borders, liberating an oppressed group in Ethiopia (for context, the IRL battle started when Ras Tafari took a chunk of the army to ostensibly go kill some Oromo, but actually decided it'd be neat to seize the throne), and gaining practical insights into how our army is deficient before we're up against a serious enemy.

On the other hand, it seems the votes are heavily skewing that way already and it might be wise to present a united front.

Even putting aside that dice roll that may or may not have been really bad for us, it seems rather absurd to say that we're ready when we just started the quest and have barely even begun to try reforming anything.

Cowards the lot of you!

How will we ever learn what is wrong with our forces if we don't crack some eggs and free our oppressed brothers and sisters!

Sure, but our goal for the quest likely isn't "bulk up to beat Ethiopia" but instead "be strong enough that we can resist a colonial power taking a swipe at us", which is much more challenging.

Also, making guesses on how things will go based on a die roll that we in-universe wouldn't know about seems wrong to me.

I hope we will be able to turn this, we won't get another opportunity to test our army and conquer liberate some territories.
