Attempting To Fulfil Your Contract: A Noveria Planquest [Mass Effect]

Wow, no wonder the Krogans are moody. One of the companies is literally employ their enemy to kill their people. I thought the guys in BH knew better, they sure seemed contemplative when they returned, but obviously not. I think we need to do an audit to protect ourselves, and the people in Binary Helix who had no knowledge of this.
Correction, the local branch, or at least the survivors knew better. Higher ups, OTOH....

Come to think of it, Saren probably put more of his supporters up there. Maybe even Indoctrinated people?

NSID investigation will collect the data we need. If their are Rachni in there lab we'll find them, and hopefully loose shepard on them.

When we updated the Binary Helix security systems, who did we expect them to use their security systems on? Some other biological monstrosities?

Though IIRC, these cloned rachni are not sapient because they're not connected to a queen.
...They don't have a cloned queen down there do they?

Inform me of things needing changes, as is I am not very good at plan making lol.

I apologise for nothing.

...how many phases is this Faith?
4 phases. 2 for Port Hanshan, 1 each for Lower and Southern Hanshan.

Long gone as in dead? Because in ME3 she was shown as still alive, if captured by the Reapers.
To the limit of the NDC Executive Board's office, she was 'escorted' offworld by a Citadel Spectre. What happened to her after that is anyone's guess.

I'm honestly surprised that this kind of blow hasn't reduced Binary Helix's profitability on this planet as well.
As far as the NDC is aware, Binary Helix's current operations on Noveria are purely self-funded research. They're not reliant on income from research grants, sold goods, or patent royalties, and so all of the Profit you generate from Binary Helix comes out of their pocket directly. Now, they might have still attempted to swing a profitability dive, however, in a rare display of business acumen, Binary Helix have decided that maybe right now, when it has just been made clear that they've in some way used Noverian research to illegally clone some sapients to commit a high publicity war crime, is not the best time to be begging for tax relief or rent payment plans.

not if they want to stay on this nice "outside of council regulations" planet, at least.

I suppose my only minor complain is that I would have liked to take the Peak 07 Biomedical Research Lab, because I think that if we complete it quickly enough we MIGHT be able to save Thane Krios.

Actually, if he was in better conditions he might be able to defeat and/or capture Kai Leng in ME3, and that might lead to Shepard getting access to the prothean VI in Athame's temple instead of having it stolen by Cerberus. That could lead to possibly completing the Crucible BEFORE the Reapers manage to steal the Citadel.

As much fun as it is to imagine us curing Thane enough that he is able to kill Kai Lang, its not going to happen. Thane was already at deaths door by the time Shepard arrived on the Citadel after the Invasion of Earth. and Thane had to have been having medical issues. honestly it would have required a sheer miracle for Thane to even kill Kai Lang since Lang was at his best at that moment even despite his incompetence. I do know of a fic where Thane is healthy enough where he does in fact kill Kai Lang but its a short one shot.

I disagree. we're still something like a full year before that moment, and Noveria is the place where cutting-edge research happens, AND Thane and Shepard are the kind of important people who WOULD get access to prototype treatments. There IS a chance.

...Honestly I'm surprised the problem can't be solved by 3D printing a Lung for organ transplant.

It's possible that the issue is with the entire respiratory system rather than just the lungs, which would make replacement parts...ineffective, unless you managed a full system transplant, but at that point you're likely dealing with "able to rebuild a spine from the ground up" tier medical stuff.

fair enough.

in any case the point is that we don't really even need a full cure to save Thane. something just affecting the symptoms would be enough. Having him last a year longer at peak effectiveness would be enough to give him a chance against Kai Leng, with all the consequences following that butterfly potentially meaning millions more lives saved

Kioka, who has been hard-carrying Nil'Zannis' introvert ass through corporate politics for two years and rolling death dice the whole time: "Am I a joke to you all?"
