There was a Spi...dea. (Sony, Spider-Man Producer Quest)

[X] Plan PCDBWSRAKD
[X] Peter Capaldi: From what you've seen, he's a fairly talented actor. Maybe he could bring some life to The Vulture?
[X] Charlize Theron: Once again, you really liked her audition. To the point that it's kind of hard to decide on who should play Emma Frost.
[X] Damian Lewis: Once again, a good actor who you could see as Curt Connors.
[X] Booboo Stewart: He had a pretty good audition, and he's pretty well known as Seth Clearwater from the Twilight series. And that's... wrapped up, so maybe you could take him on?
[X] Wyatt Russell: You thought he had a fairly good audition for the character of Casey Jones
[X] Scott Caan: He had a good audition, and you could honestly see him playing the future Electro.

[X] Ricky Whittle: Once again, another good actor who you could see as Aaron Davis.
[X] Anthony Starr: A good actor, and you could see him playing Norman Osborne.
[X] Kevin Grevioux: Best known as Raze in the Underworld series, you could see Kevin playing an intimidating Tombstone, though... he isn't albino like the original character is.
[X] Daniel Radcliffe: It's been a few years since Harry Potter, and he was your second choice for The Shocker. Maybe you could have him play Mark instead?

-[X] Matthew McConaughey: An honestly great actor, that you could see play an incredibly fun version of Norman Osborne.
-[X] Write-in: Winston James Francis: A former body guard of Snoop Dog's, he recently began acting last year (2012), making an appearance in Sons of Anarchy, and while he's not exactly an albino, he certainly looks the part of Lonnie Lincoln at 7ft and 300 lbs. Fairly new, he is at the very least dedicated his roles, no matter how small they might have been thus far.

We only have a limited window to use Nimoy so why not take it?

-[x] Charlize Theron: Once again, you really liked her audition. To the point that it's kind of hard to decide on who should play Emma Frost.
-[x] Robert Carlyle: A good actor, with quite the history. You could see him playing the role of Dr. Curtis Connors.
-[X] Martin Sensmeier: He also had a good audition, and you could see him playing the cocky and lackadaisical Delsin Rowe.
-[x] Stephen Amell: And finally, was Steve Amell. He's recently begun playing the Green Arrow on the CW's Arrow, and... seems to be doing a pretty good job there.
-[x] Scott Caan: He had a good audition, and you could honestly see him playing the future Electro
-[x] Anthony Mackie: Another good actor, you could see him as Aaron Davis.
-[x] Willem Dafoe: Bringing him back could be odd to some people... but you honestly can't see anyone else playing the Green Goblin. But, it may cause some confusion due to him being a part of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies.

Going to admit, I fucking hate the idea of Emma Watson as Emma Frost.

Especially when she's going to be teaching people her own age, it just seems weird to me. This is why I wanted an older actress, but I'll go with it.

Maybe it could be explained as her being a genius or some shit. Or not acknowledged. I don't fucking know.

i mean it is your quest, only reason i picked EmmA is because i know more of her
It'll be late 2013 when this movie gets released, leaving Watson to portray a character in her late twenties to early thirties [to account for her successful business practice and being a College Professor] at 23 years old, which [disregarding the fact she's supposed to be an authority figure to Peter and the others as a Professor] due to the Post-Credits portraying Emma Frost as a younger contemporary to Willem DaFoe [who'll be 58 at that year]'s Norman Osbourne is gonna leave the audience an...uncomfortable first impression of the character at best and rewrites of the script at worst.

Also, YouTube's a thing, you can look them up if you're unfamiliar with a name.
Natalie Dormer would be awesome
The question is what role though...Veranke?

Have her be a former child protagy who connects with Peter for having a mind beyond his peers? She is an alpha telepath, so could have picked up all sorts of education that way, and also grew up too fast from the unshielded thoughts of adults around her.

So we have a character played by an actress who is at least 5 years younger than the main star, playing a professor in a university? Yeah, totally believable.

Anyway, we shall see if the fan cheer or riot. It's all up to the dice, and from my experience, these bastards love to screw people over (sometimes I think that it's specifically me).

64- Spider-Man 2's Emma Frost.

Michael Keaton was hired as The Vulture, which was... awesome, as having one of the Batman's in your movie was... just amazing.

Mads Mikkelsen was chosen to play Curtis Connors, you feel like he could give 110% to the role.

Booboo Stewart was cast as Delsin Rowe, and you feel like he could be good in the role.

Wyatt Russell was cast as Casey Jones, and you could see him doing well in the movie.

Donnie Wahlberg and you can definitely see him playing a good Max Dillon and later on Electro.

Mike Colter was chosen to be Aaron Davis, and possibly the future Prowler, if you decide to use the character in the future.

Willen Dafoe was able to return as Norman Osborne, which you were, honestly just... really excited for.

Winston James Francis, a former bodyguard of Snoop Dogg's was chosen to play the role of Tombstone, he may not be albino... but other than that, he has the general look down, and he mentioned that he'd stick to the role no matter what.

Daniel Radcliffe was chosen to be Mark Allen-Toomes, which you were really excited for... you feel like he could be really good in the movie.

Then... there was a casting decision that you honestly really didn't like.

Emma Watson as Emma Frost, and... the only reasoning given was that her name was Emma, and apparently, that was a 'match made in heaven'... yeah, that casting director isn't working with you anymore.

Having such a young actress, who's younger than most of her supposed students is just... off, and you'll probably have to change the script to fix it. Not to mention the creepy vibes her partnership with Norman Osborne would have. There were a lot of bad implications there.

What do you do to fix this problem?

[] Have it explained as Emma Frost being a child prodigy, who managed to get various Ph.D.'s within two years, and this is her first year actually teaching. As it turns out, she's really talented at it.
[] Have it explained that Emma Frost ages slightly slower than normal people, and thus looks a bit younger than she actually is.
[] Don't mention the age thing whatsoever in the movie, sure... it may be a bit odd, but it's nothing that makeup can't fix.
[] Change the script to have Emma Frost as a fellow student at ESU.
[] Write Emma Frost out of the script entirely.
[] Recast Emma Frost, it'd probably set production back by about a month, but... it could be worth it. (Who?)
-[] Vanessa Kirby.
-[] Charlize Theron.
-[] Kathryn Winnick.
-[] January Jones.
-[] Margot Robbie.
-[] Natalie Dormer.
-[] Samara Weaving.
-[] Write-in:
[] Maybe there's another way to fix this? Write-in:
_____

Alright, after this we're going to get to actually filming the movie.

I'd go Theron, but it eats a month.
