The Dragon Ascendant: NO SV: Welcome To Another Viserys Targaryen Quest (A Ck2 Quest)

[X]Take the Throne: "My Lord's, do not think that this undertaking will be done lightly. I promise you all, that with my power, I will serve only the Interests of Westeros and all our people. (Take the Throne. This is your birthright. Your Destiny. Begin CK2 QUEST)

[X]Destroy the Throne: "My Lord's, let this be the end of one chapter of Westeros. And the Beginning of another. Let not this cursed Throne blight this land with it's power and shame. We are one land, and one people." (Take the Kingship, but Destroy the Throne. Something else may be forged in its place in time. Begin CK2 Quest!)

So I'm about to make a poll on the quest:

One that is continuous like the one in exiled dragons.

A series of overarching goals that will change actions and reactions in the turns and effect the rumor mill.

They are Viserys State of mind goals. Goels that will take possibly the rest of his life to figure out.

Also the first turn is going to be very similar to Marlowes, mostly because I made half the actions for him, and I'm taking them back.

And adding a few more.

it was literally made by our dynasty you may as well rule a free city if u destroy it no point in staying in Westeros
It is a symbol of our dynasty, but that is it, replacing that symbol for another one is nothing unheard of... Or did the Kingdom of Denmark disappear when they changed the colors of their flag in 1920?

To be frank, I would personally avoid destroying the Iron Throne because even if it is a big and ugly lump of iron it still has lots of historical significance, so I would commission a new throne and put the old one away where it doesn´t bother anyone, BUT I don´t see that option avaible.

Feel ya hate votes sometimes and I mean u can put a cushioned back on the thrones also isn't a change in flags usually a change in dynasties as in the old dynasty lost also it just opens more room for the wardens to disrespect us in small painful jabs

The thing is: we're making a statement with that.

Forging something new in a sea of stagnation.

Viserys is… for a lack of a better word: An Agent of Chaos. A force of change in the world for better and for worse, onto a continent and a world that has not changed in 100years, since Aegon the Unlikely.

He is forcing change into the world because he knows nothing else.

Plus my plans for the iron throne if it's destroyed is… very interesting.

To say nothing of the unintended consequences that it can cause.

Keep the throne and you know what you get.

Destroy it? Oh boy.

The throne is magical.
Yeah, I kind of figured that out myself... But I don´t know how good or bad those effects are...

But to be fair, I doubt that a magic item made the way it was done is going to be anything else but black magic.

I am sure that the incest between siblings was the main cause of why so many Tagaryens made such bad kings and queens (some of them were great, but 2/3ds of them ranged from mediocre to terrible), but I doubt that spending several hours a day sitting on a magic item made out of the swords of your fallen enemies melted down by dragonflame is going to have positive effects...
The better question is: how does one forge Valyrian steel?
You go back to the Shore we found in Valyria in the last quest, bring EVERY SINGLE BIT OF THAT MULTITUDE OF BROKEN SWORDS, melt it down in ingots, and get them to blacksmith skilled enough to forge them.

If it is destroyed u should know how to reforge it into something interesting something like armor or a\something arcane but not too out of franchise hate when they give dragonborn powers if they do use the dovakin it should be without the dragon powers so we don't get a wank situation. sorry saying too much
