The Angel and the Human 1:

You knew that your entire life was boiled down to some rather insane odds, all things considered. From being sold by your parents to Nazis, to getting injected with a serum that would make you immortal… ish, by those same nazi's, escaping captivity to being rescued by a German General who just so happened to be the one man trying to plot to kill Hitler.

Taking into account that everything seemed implausible, it still felt possible, despite everything that was happening.

This was beyond anything plausible and went straight into the madness that you had somehow grown accustomed to with the continued survival in situations you find yourself in, on a worrying regularity.

Well, it wasn't your fault that you kept stumbling into crazy shit. But here you were with an angel, and your guardian Angel at that, who was about to go onto a mission that was not for the faint of heart, you were not trained for, and otherwise be a liability for.

But it was to help someone and you'll be damned if you were going to not help someone.

"Wait, let me help you with this, they will never expect a mortal." You stated.

Rami looked at you and was disgusted. "No offense, but we're going against the Celestial bureaucracy of China, who really hate outsiders to rescue my brother. You are a liability."

"Perhaps, but am I really any more safe here than I am with you?" You asked.

The Angel of knowledge took a moment to think about it, and then shuddered at the thought of you alone in this place. "On second thought, stay with me, I don't have time to get you drafted into medical slavery by powers that are beyond you."

"I'm a German citizen." You stated with an arm fold.

"They don't care, you are skilled in medicine, and they will need every doctor they can get once they start killing each other." Rami stated. "And you don't seem like the sort that wishes to live through another war, esspecially a civil one."

You frowned. "I've already lived through one. What's another."

That made the Angel nod. "Well, braver than most at least." The Angel then pulled a ring out of his pocket and then made a circle. "Oh come on you piece of Shit, the ancient one said that this ring would work!"

"Who's the Ancient One?" You asked.

"Oh, just some ancient Sorceress who mucked around in the darker arts. We work with her every now and then to protect the earth from magical space Dragons that want to eat the Planets Lifeforce. Among other things."

"There are other things besides Space Dragons?" You asked, gobsmacked at the insanity that you were hearing.

"Oh, a whole universe of things that your mind cannot comprehend. Just be glad that you can understand a simple rescue mission, instead of me accidentally reincarnating your soul into the past, and we'd need to work with you to kill you in a way that would get you back to your original body." Rami stated. "Happened once to this one guy, can't remember the name, but it was quite hilarious. In a darkly amusing way.

Rami turning the ring again. "Dammit! Work Damn you!"

"Having trouble?" you asked.

"Oh, it's just sling rings are far too finicky with angel magic, tends to cause them to short." Rami then turned the ring again and smiled. As a portal opened to another location. "Alright then, shall we?"

You nodded. "Wait, where are we going?"

"Picking someone up, we need his help."

"Besides me?" You asked.

"You're a liability. I need someone who is capable."

You frowned. "I can-"

"Perhaps in your world, but not in mine." Rami stated as you walked through the portal.

You arrived in another place, before throwing up.

"Oh. Shit, I forgot the uninitiated tend to get sick…" Rami stated. "You're going to feel nauseous."

"Fuck you." You swore.

"I guarantee you that many have tried. And all of them were terrible lays that should not have ever been forced into a position to lay with me." Rami joked.

Where are you:

[]At the Base of a Mountian: High upon the peak of a mountain, near the base of another floating mountain, was a man… monkey… thing being flattened by it. "Hey, Rami… Long time no see? Whose the kid?"

[]At a Temple: You looked at the monk who was looking at Rami, and he shook his head. "No. No, no-no. I am not getting involved in the court again, not again, not after my journey to the West! Go away!"

[]The Gates of Hell: "Lucifer, we need your help. Mike got kidnapped again, and we need to spring him from the Celestial court before they find out he found the Emperor's Stash of hidden weapons."
