Gods of Chaos: a Riot God Quest

Authored:

[X] Create the Arts of Shaping (Grand Act)

The arts of Shaping is built and draws on the Law of Constant Evolution, and through it a mortal can stimulate and guide the evolution of individuals/species or even create new ones. While endlessly versatile and in principle capable of interfacing with other magical systems, the art is also fundamentally quite dangerous if used carelessly as unintentional results can result from even well-intentioned acts (ex: nutrient depletion from crops that grow too well).

Not Authored:

[X] Create the Twilight Arc, the weapon of the Last Light (Lesser Act)
[X] Create Vixith the volcanic turtle. (Lesser Act)
[X] Form a mortal statue of the Watcher's Watcher out of the stones of the Moon. (Lesser Act)
[X] Shape into existence the World-Song Stones. (Lesser Act)

[X] create vigor the power of warriors that is generated from their life forces of living beings that is built upon the law of constant evolution. all creatures shall have an innate amount of vigor based on how powerful their body is and can train to further expand their own personal capacity. The more vigor one possesses the greater their physical capability, gain resistance to the effect of magic and even increase their longevity, at a sufficient quantity and mastery one can project vigor outward from their body and shape it as one will. (cosmic act)
Ok @Photomajig should this be cosmic or grand ?

[X]Erase the outer gods completely (Cosmic Act)
[X] Empower Nehu Far-Strider with the Might of the OutSlayer (Grand Act?/Cosmic Act?)
[X] Create the humans Askr and Embla within the godlike-garden in the World Tree. (Grand Act)
[X] Create the Arts of Shaping (Grand Act)
[X]Shatter the Outer Gods into lesser creatures. (Grand Act)

[X] Allow multiple Sun-Whales to pool their magic to manifest in cold Void or alien Unseen avatar of terrible power in their form, made of solar plasma and magic. (Grand Act)

Authored Acts:

[X] Create the Druyul (Grand Act)

The Abraxas and the Architect have decided to work together on their next great and wonderful project; an entirely new sentient reptilian species called the Druyul, a humanoid reptilian race The average height of a Druyul is 5 foot 10/11 inches, and each and every Druyul has reptilian wings attached to their back, giving them the capability for short to medium-range flight along with a tail that can be detached and grow back, an ability shared by lizards. Druyul are an omnivorous species, and prefer to feed on tough vegetables or meat from birds or fish or larger animals. Hunting by divebombing targets from the air is a common practice, and fishing is common among the coastal communities.

I would like the Druyul to be positioned in the Arken Lands, but if they don't come into existence I'll just have them in the hot lands.

Non-authored acts:

[X] Create The Arken Lands, a new continent in the north of the world. (Grand Act)
[X] Empower Nehu Far-Strider with the Might of the OutSlayer (Grand Act)

I was wondering why nobody was voting for my tyrant one and then I realized I put it as a demi-act and not a lesser act, that would certainly semi at least a little bit of it.

the lore:
while the creators created the world and sow it with life both equal to each other and opposite they wondered about their own existence but at a certain point came to a conclusion if beings equal to them exist outside their world there can also be opposite beings that only they want to destroy and at one point an external force will come that only wants the destruction of the world, even though the creators created serenades to protect the world they don't know if they were prepared for it that's why they created the outer gods to prepare the world against this possible invasion Outer gods along with the law of constant evolution would help strengthen the world to resist this invasion in the future, but seeing the destruction that outer gods have left in the world the creators realized that however much this in the long run it would create beings capable of resisting a invasion and fortification would be the world in general the result would be a gloomy and sad world that no being would like to live some creators seeing the error they vote for destroying the outer gods since they only cause destruction as much as the outer gods only cause destruction and carnage to the world they are like that because they were created that way their own conscience has no sympathy for mercy or any trait that causes sympathy with other forms of life neither do they like themselves another creator proposed something else The great journey

[X] The great journey (Lesser Act)

The Great Journey serves to make the outer gods aware all outer gods will go to sleep and their bodies cannot be attacked or have any kind of malicious action done towards them and their souls will be transferred to a newly born sentient race with a greater affinity with your soul, your soul will no longer be a distorted soul that only knows how to cause chaos and destruction will be like a normal soul and can have joy and sadness like all other beings and their memories like outer gods will be sealed, the laws of the narrative will be distorted so that they are not killed early and that they have a destiny in the narrative that destiny and that will depend on your effort and dedication what they want to be if he wants to be a great warrior he will have many opportunities di be one but if he doesn't put effort or doesn't seize the opportunities he will never be a great warrior the more the effort and the fight the greater the reward when one of them dies his soul will go back to his outer gods body and have all his memories back but without a distorted consciousness he will still have a normal being soul remembering this is not to say his soul is weak it just won't be distorted the same as before if he will it continue to be what it was before or change to something else it's all in their hands

I'm having some trouble parsing this, but you'd like to make the Outer Gods essentially reincarnate as a new sentient race with special destinies? I know it's not always clear what category Acts might go to, but under Grand Act in the first post it's pretty clear that the creation of sentient races is always a Grand Act, at the least. Since you are essentially also erasing the Outer Gods, I'm inclined to think it would be a Cosmic Act in this case.

I hope I got that right. I think if you asked your co-creators, you might get advice on how to present your ideas in a clearer and more legible manner. This is a bit tricky for me to read, unfortunately.

So just to be sure, were there ever any details included with this act or is this all that's been written for it?
The Arken Lands, a new continent in the north of the world. Splint in half with a small sea cutting the continent in half. Named for the massive arch stretching from its western beach of one island to the eastern cliffs that make up the edges of the other island. On the western island lies thick and dark jungles to the south and a dark snowy forest to the north. While the eastern island has grasslands with the sporadic forest spread across its entire breadth and width. Written by Easter when Scrivener asked for a prompt for the Northern Continent.
Though, Easter's voting for the Tyrant so the act is orphaned at the moment.

I'll switch my proposed act to this and just do the Tyrant next turn. It's not getting much steam anywho.

[X] The great journey (Lesser Act)

all external gods will incarnate in the form of a baby of an intelligent race that already exists in the world and will have their memories as an external god sealed and their soul will be the same as a normal living being, their external god's body will be protected and the laws of the narrative will be distorted to give you a great destiny and to avoid dying early, when they do they will be sent back to your body with all your memories back so that your soul is no longer a twisted soul that just wants to cause chaos or destruction

note:
after they come back from their life with a normal being at least some of them will stop being what they are and try to do something else this would be much more interesting than simply killing them or throwing them to some corner of the universe and also with reincarnation we would have 20 "heroes" in the world with a great destiny in the narrative and even if only a few of them want to stop being what they are, it will already be more than enough to change the game

note:I can understand now English is not my language so I'm using the translator but can I understand?

It is not for nothing but the GM said it was a cosmic act ..

Authored-

here's the nuclear option for those that want it-
[X]Erase the outer gods completely (Cosmic Act)

Supported-
[X] Empower Nehu Far-Strider with the Might of the OutSlayer (Grand Act?/Cosmic Act?)
[X] Shape into existence the World-Song Stones: Across the length and breadth of the world, great circles of curiously shaped stone monoliths rise up from the earth. Such is their shape that when wind passes through and around their forms, it forms the chords and whistles of serenely beautiful music. Further, the song that sounds out throughout the Seen also resonates within the Unseen, allowing for spoken words to echo from one to the other. (Lesser Act)
[X] Form a mortal statue of the Watcher's Watcher out of the stones of the Moon. (Lesser Act)
[X] Allow multiple Sun-Whales to pool their magic to manifest in cold Void or alien Unseen avatar of terrible power in their form, made of solar plasma and magic. (Grand Act)
[X] Create Pebble-Chan (Demi-Act)
[x] Create The Merchant of Hope

I suggest those who want to crimp the Outer Gods to consider not just proposing measures, but approval backing the ones in the table. I think we might have the 10 votes for at least one if not more of those measures to past.

The Outer Gods would not have passed the threshold if the Cosmic Act threshold was set at 10 last turn, but here we are. I really do not like how they hijacked the last turn results, and I have my concerns that this 8 vote Cosmic Act will continue to lead the quest in very divisive directions. Not only that, I am very concerned it's going to hijack the narrative at the expense of everything else.

I would not agree with entirely erasing the outer gods. Create things destined to kill them, sure. Demote them, sure. But I would prefer we handle this with methods within the setting we have created.

If a person can only author a single action each turn, then how do you have an 'orphaned' act?
Someone asked for a suggestion for a new continent and I gave one and I guess people started voting for it without realizing it hadn't actually been picked up by anyone.

I've picked it up now though so it should be all good.

Authored Act:

[X] Infuse animals unusually filled with the power of Evolution, to spread and fill the ecosystem, and create new opportunities to exploit (Grand Act)
Given that this produces multiple species and a sort-of-magic derived from them, but builds on the Law of Constant Evolution rather than being independent, I would presume it would be Grand.

Supported Acts:
[X] Create The Arken Lands, a new continent in the north of the world. (Grand Act)
[X] Create Vixith the volcanic turtle. (Lesser Act)
[X] Shape into existence the World-Song Stones. (Lesser Act)

Might add more, but currently watching to see what I want to put my limited ability to support Grand and Cosmic acts on.

@Photomajig Can you clear up some mechanics here regarding act authorship and 'orphaned acts'?

Well... I didn't intend for it to be possible for Acts to be adopted - to avoid one person creating many Acts for others to pick up and so dominating creation. I would prefer to see you put your own spin on the Act rather than only copy it.

I'm a bit conflicted on this, so thoughts are welcome.
