There was a Spi...dea. (Sony, Spider-Man Producer Quest)

I don't know how I wrote this in like twenty minutes. It literally just... happened. I literally don't know what came over me. I was just putting the votes in the notepad for when I woke up, and... 20 minutes later, it was done.

What the fuck, me?

If you have any ideas for extra votes, I'll do them in the next update, a while after I wake up. Or we can quickly zoom past this to the script stuff. Whatever.

[X] Plan: What a Shocker
-[x] Keep Herman as he is, a somewhat loveable screw-up, make him as likable as you can in the script, show scenes of him with his family, maybe have him and Peter form a somewhat tentative friendship in their secret identities, which somewhat goes away when Herman becomes The Shocker.
-[x] He intially starts as a small time crook getting bigger as his gear improves, the war between him and Spiderman escalating until one goes too far. The it gets personal...
-[x] Herman intially respected him, seeing him as just a guy who was trying too help out. But eventually he became too much of a buzz and he tried too take him out. Spiderman eventually beat him and then got him jailed and thats when he started caring less about profit and more about making it even.
-[x] A young man, in the prime of his life.
-[x] Keep it too the Shocker, but perhaps have him and Spiderman temporarily work together too beat an even greater villain, one who planned too kill them both.
-[x] Do a post credit scene too show Herman figured out who Peter is.

[X] Plan: Rise of the Shocker
[X] Make Herman Schultz into somewhat of a parallel to Peter Parker, a genius with low resources, a family member dying, and a resolve to do something in the memory of that family member. It just turns out that, that family was a two-bit thief, and Herman learned a lot under them... eventually making his gauntlets and suit, and becoming The Shocker.
-[X] Make him and Peter friends in their Civilian lives
[X] Spiderman finds him after investigating semi-regular break-ins happening in lots of electronic shops
[X] Shocker honestly, kind of likes Spider-Man... sure, he could make a lot of money with his powers. But, keeping the neighborhood safe isn't a bad thing... sadly, they had a conflict of ideals.
[X] A teenager just like Peter.
[X] No, this is a Shocker solo movie.
[X] Do a post-credit scene or two.
-[X] Do one (Describe it)

--[X] a recruitment scene like in Iron Man, but the twist is that its for the Shocker

I could see a second villain as an opening sequence character, for Spider-Man to show off against. Even better, if with the current Shocker Plan, that Shocker could narrate the sequence. If so, use someone like Paste-Pot-Pete, or an early appearance Vulture.

[X] Plan: Rise of the Shocker

we are going to make shocker such a good (and pleasant) character that in some future marvel will change his origins to fit the movie.

outside of jokes, shocker is so little known outside of comics (and even in comics it has quite little relevance) that we can do more or less what we want .. my goal is to do what sam reimi did with doc ock or sand -man, or what the ucm did with the vulture ... grab a character that is not very deep and give it a spin, making it interesting, this reaching the point that it impacts (although in a lesser way, only in the case of sam reimi ) in the comics.

and the post-credit scene could give a hint of the future six claims.
it could be that kingpin hires them to take care of the spider and the growing number of heroes / people with powers.

the end of the first "era" would be the first appearance of the sinister six, where Peter is defeated (or almost) for the first time.

[X] Edgar Wright wanted to turn Herman Schultz into a sort of... visionary, he knew that Spider-Man was going to be a big name. And wanted to be there from the ground up, as his first big bad, and hopefully a prime member of his Rogues Gallery. This Shocker would be a lot more... genre-savvy than the rest. (Director's Choice)

-[x] Shocker's just going around robbing banks, and it's up to Spider-Man to stop him!

I want genre savvy shocker that goes for the money and isn't personally mad at Spider-Man like the other villains.

[X] Plan: A start of a grand plan
-[X] Make Herman Schultz a parallel to Peter Parker, a genius with low resources, and a family member dying. Then one day he witnesses Spiderman in action and comes to the realization that Spiderman might very well reach the big times. So he simply asked, why couldn't he as well? (Bit of mix of 1st and 5th. Some parallel to Peter and some genre-awareness.)
--[X] Make him and Peter interact frequently, but not quite to the point of being friends.
-[X] Shocker is performing slowly escalating thefts culminating into attempting to take something from a corporation of government facility. Knowingly acting as a more visible distraction for something far more grander.
-[X] Shocker admires Spiderman and desires to witness the true heights they both could reach on their respective paths. He acknowledges that they have a conflict in ideals and his fully willing to even take actions to but him back on his heroic path even if they must be enemies.
-[X] A teenager just like Peter.

I like the rise of the Shocker plan but I wanna try a type of grand plan type of deal running through multiple movies and slowly showing all members before culminating into a movie. So a bit like the Avengers introducing each member only with villains instead. Do quite like the being genre-savvy as well.

Also a bit of winning, but at the same time the hero unknowingly losses in some way.

Multiple other posts were made while working on this...Could maybe use improvements?

I'm curious. Do you guys have any ideas for potential movies we could do down the line?

If so, feel free to share them, with either just titles and a small description, or a full-on pitch. I'm really interested to see what you've all got.

ok my idea is to take one or two movies to show that the world does not revolve around peter.
some of the ideas are:
-a black cat movie (it would not take so much budget since there would be nothing too fanciful)
- could be a deredevil
- If we dare to make a movie that is not almost action, we could make a movie about the origin of some villain that we want to be very important in the future

those are the ones that come to mind (if someone is interested, I'll talk more)

Well, here are my thoughts:
-We're going to hire Andrew Garfield? I mean from what I remember he has been a fan of Spiderman since he was a child so he will know more or less how to be faithful to the character.
-I think it would be interesting if the movie will show that Peter is not yet an expert (this is seen since he leaves material collateral damage in some fights, like when he stops carjacking or something like that)
-I think it would be interesting if scenes "recorded by people and uploaded to social networks will be shown in the introduction."
- If we have gwen, it would be interesting to make her not know that Peter is spiderman and that she does not like spiderman
-We will include a romantic interest?

Well the obvious one would be a shocker solo movie, and the Web Warriors and maybe Superior Spiderman . I just want to stay away from the Comic Book spiderman, because he is kind of an asshole

So, ask ... how do omakes have to be written .. in the first person ?, as if it were someone watching the movie?, in the third person?
