The Soviets probably instead of a quick breakthrough through the heavy fortifications of the Germans near Leningrad, they probably got bogged down in bloody battles to the last. Another bloody mess for the German fortifications, the Red Army got used to it, and the main task of the offensive - the withdrawal of German forces to the east during the attack France is being fulfilled.
The bombing, well, I do not think that they could have become much more accurate without guidance, optics or radio from below, another thing is that there is a phenomenon like a "fire storm" can do monstrous things.
Let's just say it was a very dry and a little windy summer in Germany so that a rare effect would be repeated several times? I'm just trying to get some realism, as for me these are the most obvious things. D-Day is not my topic.

I actually did rolls for casualties on that front.
Germans lost damn near everything.
Soviet's took almost 100,000 casualties, and need time to reorganize for more breakthroughs.
Bomber Harris firebombed Dresden, Frankfurt, Luebeck and several other German cities with a few experimental stark industry fire bombs.
And those bombs were very effective.
The Allies supply situation in Normandy has been augmented by capturing the Port of Calis
And more ports and breakthroughs along the Normandy coast
That sounds very good.
