Animus Ex Nihilo - A God Quest

[X] Plan Explore, and Expand
- [X] Bless the explorers. (Island Expedition) - 1 Power
- [X] Bless the settlers. (Forest Village) - 1 Power
- [X] Bless the settlers. (Shore Village) - Herald
- [X] Heal the people. - 1 Power
- [X] Protect the dead. - 1 Power
- [X] Try to take the power of the pits for yourself. - 4 Power

Let's see how this pans out.

Iwe have three high cost-high reward actions this turn:
-Claiming Healing Domain
-Claiming Deep Reef
-Take Power rom Pits
Last one seems to be time sensitive, so im going with
[X] Plan Explore, and Expand

I feel like putting another two power into inventing better boats would be a worthwhile investment the more our people start exploring, colonizing, and trading over the shore, rivers, and ocean. There's only so far canoes can work as the scope of our civilization expands.

Improving boats was the next action in my priority list to invest power into this turn but I ran out of power just before getting to it, and I'm not willing to risk the healing domain or feeding the Devourer when we don't have to, to get better boats. For, now I'm just going to hope that our blessings are enough to carry our people through before we can hopefully invest some spare power into improving boats next turn well we claim the healing domain or something like that.

The only expansion that really seems to need better boats is the northern one, and that one can wait.

I also now realised that we better start praying that the Mountain gods people are isolationist, since they are going to be the ones to discover metal first.

Next turn let's mend our relationship with sky child further. Maybe a gift? We need skys help in the fight with the devourer.

The expedition from turn 6 had constant boat troubles well trying to approach the island so they'll be needed there in the long run if they can't find a way to safely navigate the currents without our aid.

And, considering how the mountain acts with it punishing both its own people, and outsiders I wouldn't count on his people not being aggressive due to how closely people tend to skew towards their god so far in this quest.

[x] Plan Explore, and Expand

Why doesn't the next one want to invest in shrines the next turn? If we succeed, we will not have to personally deal with small things (Healing) and will have more energy for other projects.

It's extremely expensive, and well it would pay itself off in six turns we have a need for that power right now in the form of claiming domains, and rapid expansion the former of which helps us to combat the Devourer, and the latter of which has a better return rate than shrines.

[X] Plan: Killing Death
-[X] Cleanse the pits. – 2 power
-[X] Bless the settlers. (Forest Village) – 1 power
-[X] Bless the settlers. (Shore Village) -1 power
-[X] Heal the people. -1 power
-[X] Bless the fishers. -1 power
-[X] Find and slay the Devourer. -1 power

The purpose of this plan is to finely kill the devourer and to safely expand. I know that it has a higher death domain now than when we last fought him but with the Sky Child and our herald we stand a pretty good chance of killing it. I even left a small buffer of power and didn't use the herald action to increase our chances.

As for the expanding part of the plan. Blessing the settlers is a must if we want quickly and I hope that heling and blessing the fishers would synergize and also help with the growth of our new settlements.

[X] Plan Explore, and Expand

Death and Life would go well with the Sea Domain with the whole Sea of Bitterness-vibe in my opinion.

To be fair, I'm not too much interested in Life/Healing myself. I'd rather just go grab Death and lvl up Sea, and see where we go from there.

[x] Plan Explore, and Expand

Hopefully the pit just gets us power, rather than another unlock. A ready source of power (here) vs. a formless mass of prayers (in case of healing). We shall see.
