Star Wars: A Padawans Tale: Episode II: A New Galaxy (A CK2/Adventure Quest)

[]Stabilizing and preparing
-[]To the Chancellor: Bail Organa is the Chancellor of the Republic… not that it means much considering the massive baggage the office is now stained with. It was… still a powerful position, and it would do you well to… meet him and try to make things work. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 20 Reward: You meet the Chancellor. And he is happy to see you.
-[]The Stock Market: Oh… The Company wishes you to participate in their investment meeting… You can't really refuse… not without looking bad. Cost: 10,000 Credits. Rolls needed: 100% Reward: You go to the Market.
-[]The Count of Cards: Dooku is here… in prison, but here. WHY Rolls needed: 60% Reward: You visit Count… and learn some very interesting things.
-[]The Jedi Schism: The Jedi are at a crossroads. One that you cannot stand by and allow others to work through. Roll needed: 0 Reward: The Jedi Order is scared and afraid. But even with the Padawans screaming for an Army of Light, others have ideas far less radical. And then there is you… the appointed leader of the Padawan Resistance. WHY?
-[]I am the Force, and the Force is Me: You want to feel the force, meditate, and feel… how much the galaxy has changed in the time you were asleep. Roll needed: 70% (30>) Reward: You feel the Force, and The Force Feels you.
-[]The Master and Apprentice: Master Kenobi gave you a hug and you felt the tears on his face. "I thought I lost you Laron." He said with such warmth that it reminded you of… your first master. Rolls needed: 90% Reward: You spend time with Master Kenobi.

We need to learn how the republic is reacting to everything that is happening, we need to have a bigger impact on the company so that we can have more resources into finding out where Palpatine and everyone that went with him are, Dooku could help us lear what was Palpatine's backup plan that he could have told him about, and we need to get a better understanding as to how the force was affected by Palpatine and what we can do with it now.

4 personal actions feel like a bit much, especially since we know we would be getting more once we heal. Taking 2 personal actions and setting some ground work for our next turn with and four energy divided between Diplomacy, stewardship, learning, and intrique as you perfer might be more reasonable.
I'd rather take those personal actions now, so we can dump the future personal actions as the actions available develop. I'm concerned about the possibility where we take a X action, which leads down another two rabbit holes.

I also want those answers now, and not later. Some bias is affecting my decision making.

[]Plan Hero of the Republic!
-[]The Hero of the Republic: You have been proclaimed by everyone not a Palpatine Loyalist as a Hero of the Republic. This is going to be difficult. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 10 Reward: Laron Null! HERO OF THE REPUBLIC… That sounds like something more Anakin's Style to be honest.
-[]The Compay Store: The Null Fuels has been leaderless for the last few months. You need to check in and find out if you need to play… politics. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 40 Reward: You meet the company, and find out if the Republic is about to make things worse.
-[]The Stock Market: Oh… The Company wishes you to participate in their investment meeting… You can't really refuse… not without looking bad. Cost: 10,000 Credits. Rolls needed: 100% Reward: You go to the Market.
WHY?
-[]Spend time with Ahsoka: You looked at her broken leg. "Is everything alright?" Rolls needed: 90% Reward: You spend time with Ahsoka

Reasoning:

Hero of the Republic: We did save the Republic, after all.

To the Chancellor: This seems important.

The Company Store: Also seems important. I would rather we not have to deal with a coup in our company.

The Stock Market: Since we apparently have to do this...

The Jedi Schism: This is incredibly important.

Spend time with Ahsoka: Seriously, how did she break her leg?

[]The Jedi Schism: The Jedi are at a crossroads. One that you cannot stand by and allow others to work through. Roll needed: 0 Reward: The Jedi Order is scared and afraid. But even with the Padawans screaming for an Army of Light, others have ideas far less radical. And then there is you… the appointed leader of the Padawan Resistance. WHY?
Honestly, I am not that suprised that of all the people to become the face of the Padawan Reformists. He set in motion the formation by finding a way to allow Anikan to be married. Critically, when Tensions were on it's boiling point, with very high risk of a schism caused by the conservative council deciding to treat the movement as traitors, like Pong Krell stated, and Laron Null managed to talk them down and actually talk with the movement about reforms.
This… this was order defining… a meeting who's consequences went beyond the time and place it would take place.

And it just had to be you, the apprentice of the Negotiator.

You nodded "Yes I do have something to say, Master Kenobi. I think that the Council is holding a primed thermal detonator in its hands, and it needs to be handled carefully. A thermal detonator can be immensely destructive, but its explosion can be precisely channeled with the right focus."

Krell snarled. "Always the soldier." His jab earned him a glare from you.

"The Jedi Code established by Master Odan-Urr states 'There is no passion, there is serenity,' yet right now passions are running extremely high, and not just among the Padawans and younglings. Knight Pong Krell referred to the gathered crowd, including Master Skywalker, as traitors to the Order. This is not something that frightened and traumatized Padawans need to hear!"

The council was silent, and even Krell, someone you expected to jap and prod at you, was silent by your statement, and the loudness of the statement.

It was when you finally realized that they didn't understand… or at very least, were ignoring the very basic facts, looking deeper, at something more insidious, like the dark side… when the truth was far planer to see. "Does it surprise you that the Padawans are upset, Masters of the Order? That they are emotional? That they are acting in a way that could be seen as irrational? Many of the Padawans of the Order have commanded troops in combat, fought, killed, and lost loved ones before they are old enough to buy a drink at a cantina. My first Master died at the First Battle of Geonosis, I've led clone troopers onto the field of battle, have killed and had nearly been killed, and I am only fifteen standard years old." You swallowed and lowly said. "We are children fighting a war and we don't even know why."

It wasn't for the Republic, to keep it together. It wasn't to stop Tyrannous and his Dark Jedi ways… it was something far more insidious. "This is the greatest war to afflict the galaxy since the signing of the Ruusan Reformations a thousand years ago, with the fate of the Republic at stake. Emotions are as much a part of a sentient being as blood or breath - if they weren't then our training wouldn't teach us how to control them. . Padawans learn at the side of their Masters, and many times that learning isn't easy - it's part of the reason why graduating a Padawan to the rank of Jedi Knight is a requirement for a Jedi to be named a Master. We appreciate the guidance of our Masters and the Council but we have to walk the path of learning on our own. Sometimes that path is smooth, but there are plenty of times when we wind up stumbling around or taking a faceplant on the ground."

The council, in their stoicism, still remained quiet, but their presence was known throughout the force. They wanted to feel everything you were saying. The emotions, the feelings, the truth.

Even Krell was feeling it through the Force… looking for anything to strike at you. And you glared back at him. It was like staring at a dark storm of thunder, lightning, and destruction. "That's what those Padawans are doing downstairs. They're not rebels or traitors - they're seeking knowledge just like a Padawan is expected to! They have seen the galaxy outside the Temple, and they've seen it's different from what they have been taught. There's an old saying 'as constant as the stars in the sky,' but the stars move in their orbits. The galaxy has moved on since the Ruusan Reformations but the Jedi Order has not."

This time, you turned your gaze onto Master Yoda. You still respected him… out of all the council members… he was the one, besides Master Kenobi to have the kind of respect you granted them. You still remembered when he walked the halls the fateful night when your master died, and the funerals were held. How he told you that it would be alright… that despite everything, the Force would look out for you… and you would still be a Jedi knight.

"The last words I heard when I left this chamber as the Council approved Master Skywalker's marriage was Master Yoda saying 'Stagnant we have become,' but with that decision, we started to break free of the chains of stagnation that bind us. The Padawans see this and feel that other things can be changed to bring the Order into the present. They still respect you - all they ask is that you show them respect by giving their arguments some serious consideration."

You looked towards Master Kenobi. "I have nothing else to say, Master, may I escort Ahsoka downstairs, so she may join the others."

"This is-" Krell protested.

"Knight Krell." Master Windu spoke, and the room became cold and he was listened to. "The Padawan's will leave, same with you, and Master Nu. The council will discuss what has been spoken here in private, and then, we will open the chamber to more debates and hearings." The Glare was obviously an attempt to hear a challenge. "Is that understandable?"

"Yes, Master Windu." Krell was cowed.
AND then the battle right after, he gets separated, learns the truth while ending the campaign, and then after talking with padme, personally confronts Darth Sidious in the center of his power and becomes a Hero of the Republic, saving it from the traitor in it's midst.
...I forgot just how fast things escalated near the end. Hope he won't end up with imposter syndrome.

[]Plan Hero of the Republic!
I think every plan has the Schism (which is probably the most pressing concern)

I'm definitely interested in finding out how everyone is doing.

I'd rather get that knocked out now so we are caught up with events.

I have finished reading the first one I am now excited
just remember kids, just because we saved the republic in the short term... does not mean we have saved it long term

Its going to need a full on shit cleaning because of the train dear old papa palps brought on, making the entire thing worse.

Honestly, with how things have went so far, Anakin would be considered the war hero with his many feats, often changing the tide of battle being the best of the Jedi commanders. Then there is Laron Null, whom had most of his great feats off the battlefield, between the pazaak game against dooku, small things like finding a loophole to help the lovestruck hero Anakin, and most critically, not only stumbling on critical evidence of the massive web of deception surrounding the war, but most famously, him personally confronting the mastermind of the whole war, one Chancellor Palpatine, revealing his deceit to the world and was put in a coma by a furious now former Chancellor.

We're basically the Loki to Anakin's Thor.

I can follow []Plan Hero of the Republic! if we can change the ahsoka part for the Kenobi one. I think it is more important that sense of reliefe and safety. Any other day we can ask ahsoka what happened to her but we only have this chance to actually be really really sentimental with our master.

[X] Plan: Too much to do, maybe next turn
-[X]On the Republics… Accountancy?: The Jedi are doing an audit on all the accounts and expenses and well… Everything that is under the Jedi name to try and figure out why they were paying 50% in taxes. This is going to be fun.

-[X]Temple Time: You will wander the temple, and see who is around to talk to. Rolls needed: 90% Reward: You spend time with someone in the Temple.

I feel touching base with bail should take priority over the fame option. We can likely learn what the repuplic needs and use it to influence our investment choices.

In a similar vain checking in on recent company developments is another thing I feel we should adress, especially since the jedi masters are more trust worthy than any business partners.

[]Overlook: You need to make sure things are done… correctly. Reward: +15 to the overlocked action.
The hundred traitors option should be put off until we can use this next turn to give it a boost, especially since we need time to recover and lose our martial Debuff. In the meantime we meditate, commune with the force, and maybe get a helpful nudge in the right direction in the process.

Apologies WeeblyPanda but I'll be changing my vote after giving it some consideration.

[X] Plan The Responsibilities of Leadership with a side of Force Fries.

Making sure things aren't burning down strikes me as a productive thing to do. I don't think that cloistering ourselves inside the temple and the Order right now would be the best course of action.
