We won't. Training for the Tournament has us train martial arts with the heads of their respective clubs, and they're the only ones we know who have '+' in those skills, making our gains in karate and kendo +25 points per AP, which is the biggest we can get.

Only way for us to raise our cap from 100 to 150 is through special events, which we have not had. Our bro is the only one with caps of 150, which he can raise to 200 through special events.

You don't "Need" Sword to be able to practice Kendo. It would help, especially in Checks and Combat, to have both. But, since it's not a Supernatural Martial Art, there's no prior requirements.

Even if there were, the requirements would be waved as you're being taught by someone who is a master or at least expert at Kendo.
